Shabat.am-ը գրում է.  

Եթե կրեք նեղ կամ անհարմար կոշիկ, ապա կոշտուկների հայտնվելն անխուսափելի է: Որպեսզի ազատվեք դրանցից, կարիք չկա օգտագործեք ամենատարբեր կպչուն ժապավեններ:

Կոշտուկների դեմ պայքարը հարկ է սկսել դրանց հայտնվելուց անմիջապես հետո, և չպետք է սպասել, որ էլ ավելի մեծանան: Այդ գործում կօգնեն ոտքերի համար նախատեսված լոքանքները:

1. Թասի մեջ լցրեք 1,5 լիտր տաք ջուր, ավելացրեք մի փոքր օճառ, երեք թեյի գդալ սոդա: Շուրջ 40 րոպե ոտքերը պահեք այդ թասի մեջ: Երբ կոշտուկները կփափկեն, նրբորեն քերեք մանր ատամնավոր քերիչով: Այնուհետև ոտքերը լավ չորացրեք, կրեմ քսեք, որի բաղադրության մեջ պետք է լինի սալիցիլաթթու, կամ կոշտուկները մշակեք բորի քսուկով, իսկ վրայից կպցրեք կոշտուկների համար նախատեսված կպչուն ժապավեն:

2. Կոշտուկների դեմ վատ չեն աշխատում խորոված սոխը, կաթի և սոխի շիլայի խառնուրդը, ինչպես նաև կաթի մեջ եփած տրորված սոխի թրջոցները:

3. Վերցրեք հալվեի հաստ տերևը, բաժանեք այն երկու մասի, կտրվածքի մասով դրեք ամնիջապես կոշտուկի վրա, վիրակապով փաթաթեք, հագեք բարակ կիսագուլպա և միչև առավոտ մի հանեք:

4. Կարելի է նաև կատարել հետևյալ ընթացակարգը. երկու շաբաթ խնձորի քացախի մեջ թրմեք սոխի կճեպը, ստացվածը հաստ շերտով դրեք կոշտուկի վրա և վիրակապեք՝ պահելով ողջ գիշեր: Եթե սա կրկնեք ամեն գիշեր, ապա 5 օր հետո կոշտուկները կանհետանան:

Կան կոշտուկներից ազատվելու ժողովրդական բազմաթիվ այլ միջոցներ ևս:
