«Գանձեր մի դիզեք երկրի վրա, այլ երկնքում»

Ճշմարիտ քրիստոնյան ապրում է Աստծու պատվիրանները պահելով: Քրիստոնյայի առաքելությունն այս աշխարհում բոլոր աստվածահաճո առաքինություններից բացի նաև մարդասիրությունն է: Սուրբ Գրքում բազմաթիվ օրինակներով Աստված մեզ սովորեցնում է բարիք գործել և հատկապես կարևորել հոգևոր արժեքները և ոչ թե նյութականը: Հոգևոր արժեքները հոգևոր գանձեր են: «Գանձեր մի դիզեք երկրի վրա, այլ երկնքում»,- ասում է Տերը:
Երբեմն մարդիկ հետամուտ են լինում աշխարհի վայելքներին և դրամ կուտակելուն: Աստծուն անտեսելով երկրի վրա գանձեր դիզելը ագահության նշան է, իսկ ագահությունը յոթ մահացու մեղքերից մեկն է: Ագահությունից կարող են ծնվել այլ մեղքեր` ժլատություն, իշխանատենչություն, հպարտություն և այլն:
Անիրավ տնտեսի առակում ասվում է. «Եվ ես ձեզ ասում եմ. անիրավ մամոնայից ձեզ համար բարեկամներ արեք, որպեսզի, երբ այն պակասի, հավիտենական հարկերի տակ ընդունեն ձեզ» (Ղուկ․ 16:9): Մամոնա ասելով՝ Տերը նկատի ունի հարստությունը, որը պետք է օգտագործել մարդկանց օգնելու համար:
Մեկ ուրիշ տեղ Հիսուս Քրիստոս ներկայացնում է անմիտ մեծահարուստի առակը: Այստեղ անմիտ մեծահարուստը, իր շտեմարաններում ամբողջ բերքը հավաքելով, ասում է. «Գիտեմ, թե ինչ պետք է անեմ. կքանդեմ իմ շտեմարանները և ավելի մեծերը կշինեմ ու այնտեղ կհավաքեմ ցորենը և իմ ամբողջ բարիքները ու ինքս ինձ կասեմ՝ ո՛վ մարդ, շատ տարիների համար ամբարված բազում բարիքներ ունես, հանգի՛ստ արա, կե՛ր, խմի՛ր և ուրա՛խ եղիր»: Աստված նրան ասաց. «Անմի՛տ, հենց այս գիշեր հոգիդ քեզնից պահանջելու են, իսկ ինչ որ պատրաստել ես, ո՞ւմն է լինելու»: Նույնպես է նաև նա, ով իր անձի համար գանձ կհավաքի և Աստծով չի հարստանայ» (Ղուկ․ 12:18-21):
