2006-ին Քերի Սթիլի մոտ գլխուղեղի անոթների անևրիզմ են հայտնաբերել:

Գլխացավերից և քաղցկեղից մահանալու վախի երկու տարուց հետո մի անգամ Քերին երազ է տեսնում, որում որպես դեղ խմում է սեփական մեզը:

Արթնանալով՝ նա որոշել է, որ այդ ամենն անիմաստ չէ, և երազը մարգարեական է: Նա սկսել է ուսումնասիրել միզաբուժության մասին ամբողջ հասանելի գրականությունը:

Քերին հաղթահարել է զզվանքն ու սկսել է խմել օրական մեկ բաժակ սեփական մեզից՝ ստուգելու համար, թե այն իսկապես հրաշքներ գործո՞ւմ է, ինչպես գրում են դրա մասին:

2008-ից Քերին ոչ մի ամրացնող դեղամիջոց չի ընդունում՝ բացի իր մեզից և պնդում է, որ ցավն անհետացել է, քաղցկեղը չի վերադարձել:

Քերին նույնիսկ ուզում է իր ալիքն ունենալ YouTube-ով, որտեղ կկարողանար ուսուցողական տարատեսակ տեսանյութեր տեղադրել միզաբուժության օգտակարության մասին, մեզի օգտագործման կանոնների և այլ ճանաչողական տեղեկություն:

Միսիս Սթիլը նույնիսկ մասնակցել է ամերիկյան հեռուստաշոուի, բացահայտորեն խոսել է միզաբուժության նկատմամբ իր անկեղծ սիրո ու դրա բարերար ազդեցության մասին: Այն բանից հետո, երբ նրան բուժող բժիշկը զգուշացրել է, որ մեզի մեջ կարող են տոքսիկ նյութեր լինել, որոնք այդ կերպ դուրս են գալիս օրգանիզմից, Քերին հրաժարվել է իր սովորությունից, բայց ոչ երկար ժամանակով: Մի քանի ամիս անց ցավերը նորից վերադարձել են, կինը նորից սկսել է խմել իր մեզը: Բացի խմելուց՝ նա նաև մեզով մաքրում է ատամները:
