Израиль сможет одержать победу в конфликте против палестинского радикального движения ХАМАС в секторе Газа даже без помощи Соединенных Штатов. Такое мнение выразил премьер-министр еврейского государства Биньямин Нетаньяху в интервью телеканалу CNBC.
Главе правительства был задан вопрос, сможет ли Израиль «выиграть эту битву без поддержки Америки». «Ответ - да», - сказал он. «Хотя мы ценим американскую поддержку, мы хотим американской поддержки. Мы должны победить. У нас нет выбора», - отметил Нетаньяху.
Как ранее сообщил портал Axios, израильский премьер на заседании военного кабинета 9 мая подчеркнул, что еврейское государство не является вассалом США. Это произошло после того, как американский президент Джо Байден заявил, что США остановят поставки оружия Израилю в случае проведения крупной военной операции в городе Рафах в секторе Газа.
