Այս պահին Տավուշի մարզպետ Հայկ Ղալումյանը հանդիպում է Կիրանց գյուղի բնակիչների հետ: Նա գյուղի դպրոցում փակ հանդիպում է անցկացնում Կիրանցի, բացառապես,  տղամարդկանց հետ։ Այս մասին այսօր հայտնեց Կիրանցի բնակիչներից մեկը՝ շեշտելով, որ չնայած դրան, միջպետական ճանապարհը շարունակում է փակ մնալ:

Ավելի վաղ հայտնել էինք, որ Հայաստան-Վրաստան միջպետական ճանապարհը շարունակում է փակ մնալ: Սարիգյուղի հատվածում բլոկպոստ է տեղադրվել, ոստիկանները միայն Կիրացնի բնակիչներին են թողնում գյուղ մտնել:

Հիշեցնենք, որ մայիսի 16-ից կիրանցեցիները փակել են Հայաստան-Վրաստան միջպետական ճանապարհի Կիրանցի հատվածը:  Նրանք դժգոհում են երկու օր առաջ հրապարակված սահմանազատման արդյունքներից:

Նշենք, որ մամուլի տեղեկություններով, երեկ վաղ առավոտից ԱԱԾ–ից եկել էին գյուղ՝ հասկանալու համար, թե ըստ քարտեզների՝ բնակիչներից ում տունն է անցնելու Ադրբեջանին։

Մայիսի 16-ին Կառավարության նիստում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտնել է, որ Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի սահմանապահները կտեղակայվեն առաջիկա 8-9 օրերի ընթացքում։ Կիրանցի առավել զգայուն հատվածում սահմանապահները կտեղակայվեն ավելի ուշ, որովհետև այդտեղ որոշ մանրամասներ ենթակա են լրացուցիչ ճշգրտման։ Փաշինյանի խոսքով, Կիրանցում կան խնդիրներ, որովհետև կողմերը որդեգրել են «սահմանն անցնում է այնտեղով, որտեղով անցնում է» սկզբունքը։
