Գերմանիայի քաղաքացիական ակտիվիստներն ու իրավապաշտպանները Ադրբեջանից եւ անձամբ նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևից պահանջել են ազատ արձակել հայ բանտարկյալներին նոյեմբերին Բաքվում կայանալիք կլիմայի փոփոխությանը նվիրված ՄԱԿ-ի COP29 համաժողովից առաջ:
Բոննի World Conference Center շենքի մոտ, որտեղ ընթանում է կլիմայի փոփոխության վերաբերյալ ՄԱԿ-ի համաժողովը, տեղի է ունեցել բողոքի ակցիա։
Ակտիվիստներից մեկը՝ Ջոնաթան Սպանբենբեգը, կոչ է արել համաժողովի մասնակիցներին, միջազգային հանրությանը և իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություններին ուշադրություն դարձնել այն փաստին, որ COP29-ն անցկացվելու է մի երկրում, որտեղ մարդու իրավունքները կոպտորեն խախտվում են։
Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Ադրբեջանը հայերի նկատմամբ ցեղասպանության քաղաքականություն է վարում, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից վտարել է 120.000 խաղաղ բնակիչների, ոչնչացնում է պատմական հուշարձանները եւ ջնջում է հայկական հետքը։
Մասնակիցները կոչ են արել Բոննի համաժողովի պատվիրակներին անհապաղ միջոցներ ձեռնարկել հայ բանտարկյալներին ազատ արձակելու համար:
Թեմայի վրա ուշադրություն հրավիրելու համար սոցիալական ցանցերում արշավ է սկսվել։ Յուրաքանչյուր ոք կարող է գրառում կատարել կամ լուսանկար հրապարակել #COP29 հեշթեգով և ուշադրություն հրավիրել Բաքվում քաղաքական բանտարկյալների խնդրին:
