Հայաստանի չմտածված քայլերը կարող են անհնարին դարձնել Ռուսաստանի և Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության (ՀԱՊԿ) այլ երկրների հետ միասնական պաշտպանական տարածք ստեղծելու համատեղ աշխատանքին վերադառնալը։ Այս մասին ՏԱՍՍ-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է ՌԴ փոխարտգործնախարար Միխայիլ Գալուզինը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Երևանը, թվում է, ցանկացել է «օգտվել պահից այն պայմաններում, երբ Արևմուտքը մեծ հետաքրքրություն է ցուցաբերում փոխգործակցության ամրապնդման, այդ թվում՝ անվտանգության ոլորտում»։
«Սակայն չմտածված որոշումները, որոնք արևմտյան երկրների համար կապահովեն ամբողջական հասանելիություն ազգային տվյալների բազաներին, երկրի անվտանգության համար զգայուն տեղեկություններին, ոչ միայն ի վերջո սպառնում են պետության ինքնիշխանությանը, այլև կարող են օբյեկտիվորեն անհնար դարձնել Ռուսաստանի և ՀԱՊԿ-ի մյուս դաշնակիցների հետ միասնական պաշտպանական տարածքի կառուցման համատեղ աշխատանքին վերադառնալը», - ասել է դիվանագետը:
Գալուզինը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանի լիարժեք մասնակցությունը Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության աշխատանքներին բխում է առաջին հերթին հայ ժողովրդի շահերից և ծառայում է Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության պահպանմանը։
«Անդամակցությունը կազմակերպությանը, ինչպես նաև ռազմական ոլորտում սերտ կապերը մեր երկրի հետ, դարձել են անկախ Հայաստանի զարգացման առանցքային գործոնը վերջին տասնամյակների ընթացքում: Անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ են խոստանում Երևանին արևմտականները, այսօր ՀԱՊԿ-ին, որպես Հայաստանի անվտանգության ապահովման մեխանիզմի, արդյունավետ այլընտրանքներ չկան»,- ասել է ՌԴ փոխարտգործնախարարը:
