«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի կողմից մի քանի անգամ գրավոր ու բանավոր պարզաբանումներ ու հայտարարություններ են տարածվել առ այն, որ «Տավուշը՝ հանուն Հայրենիքի» շարժումը չի առաջնորդվում Եկեղեցու կողմից։ Սա բացարձակ ճշմարտություն է, որովհետև եթե շարժումը առաջնորդվեր Եկեղեցու կողմից, ապա մայիսի 9-ի հանրահավաքով արդեն սկսված կլիներ անցնցում իշխանափոխության գործընթացը, և անհրաժեշտություն էլ չէր լինի դադարեցնել շարժման առաջնորդ Բագրատ Սրբազանի հոգևոր-վարչական գործունեությունը։ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունն իր պատճառներն ու հետին մտքերն ունի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցուն շարժման առաջնորդ «կարգելու» գործում, բայց ի՞նչ իմաստ ունեն նման մտքերը, որոնք արտահայտվում են շարժման առերևույթ առաջին դեմքերի կողմից։
Եկեղեցին չի կարող «ոչ ամբողջությամբ» առաջնորդել շարժումը. նա կա՛մ առաջնորդում է, կա՛մ չի առաջնորդում, բայց որպեսզի մերկապարանոց չհնչեն ասածներս, միայն մեկ դրվագ ներկայացնեմ: Խոսքը վերաբերում է շարժման հունիսի 3-ի հերթական երթի ժամանակ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռուբեն Կարապետյանի՝ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում կատարած այն հայտարարությանը, համաձայն որի, շարժումը եկեղեցական չէ, բայց առաջնորդվում է ՀԱԵ կողմից, որովհետև սա «պետականության համար պայքարի շարժում է»։
Շատ անգամ եմ շարժման ակտիվիստների կողմից նկատել նման միտում, բայց միշտ համարել եմ, որ երևի լեզվի սայթաքում է եղել, կամ ակամայից են այդպես վարվում, կամ մտածում են, որ դա լրացուցիչ լիցք կհաղորդի շարժմանը, բայց երբ նման արտահայտություն անում է դիվանագետը, դա արդեն պատահական լինել չի կարող, դա նշանակում է շարժման առաջնորդները նպատակահարմար են գտնում առաջնորդությունը վերագրել Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին։ Սակայն ինչու՞ ասել մի բան, որը չի հաստատում Մայր Աթոռը։
