Сандра Буллок и Николь Кидман вновь сыграют вместе в сиквеле фильма 1998 года «Практическая магия». Студия Warner Bros. объявила, что продолжение фильма находится в разработке. Как стало известно EW, в настоящее время ведутся переговоры Буллок и Кидман, которые вернутся к своим ролям сестер-ведьм Салли и Джиллиан Оуэнс.
Актрисы также будут продюсировать фильм вместе с продюсером Дениз Ди Нови по сценарию Акивы Голдсмана.
Буллок и Кидман снялись в фильме «Практическая магия», основанном на одноименном романе писательницы Элис Хоффман. Они сыграли двух ведьм Салли и Джиллиан, воспитанных их эксцентричными тетками, после смерти их родителей.
Подробности сюжета сиквела фильма на данный момент неизвестны, но Хоффман написала несколько книг этой серии. Самая последняя из них, под названием «Книга магии: роман», был опубликован в 2021 году, и в нем участвовали три поколения женщин Оуэнс, а также давно потерянный брат.
