Բանգկոկի հայտնի շուկայում բռնկված հրդեհից 1000 կենդանի է անկել

Թաիլանդի մայրաքաղաք Բանգկոկի հայտնի բացօթյա Չատուչակ շուկայում վաղ առավոտյան խոշոր հրդեհ է բռնկվել, որի հետևանքով շուրջ 1000 կենդանի է անկել, գրեթե 100 խանութ՝ այրվել։ «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հաղորդում է BBC-ն։
Կենդանիների գոտում վանդակներում այրվել են թռչուններ, շներ, կատուներ, օձեր, առնետներ, պիթոններ և գեկկոներ։ Այրվել է 1400 քառ․ մետր տարածք զբաղեցնող կենդանիների հատվածի 118 խանութների մեծ մասը։
Ըստ իշխանությունների՝ կրակը սկսվել է կարճ միացման պատճառով։ Մարդկային զոհեր չկան։
Այս միջադեպից հետո դարձյալ կոչեր են հնչել, որ փակվի շուկայի կենդանիների գոտին, որը բազմիցս քննադատության է ենթարկվել կենդանիների պահման վատ պայմանների պատճառով։
Չատուչակը Հարավարևելյան Ասիայի ամենամեծ շուկաներից մեկն է։ Այնտեղ գտնվում են տասնյակ հազարավոր խանութներ։ Այն նաև Թաիլանդի ամենամեծ և ամենահայտնի շուկան է, ուր յուրաքանչյուր շաբաթ և կիրակի այցելում է գրեթե 200 000 զբոսաշրջիկ։
