ԱՄՆ-ը շեշտակի տեղավորվում է Հարավային Կովկասում

Միացյալ Նահանգների ակտիվությունը Հայաստանի տարածքում արդեն չափազանց ակնհայտ է դառնում։ Օրեր առաջ Հայաստան էր այցելել ԱՄՆ փոխպետքարտուղար Ջեյմս Օ՚ Բրայենը, և Հայաստանն ու ԱՄՆ-ն պայմանավորվել էին ռազմավարական երկխոսությունը փոխարինել ռազմավարական գործընկերության համաժողովով։
Նիստի արդյունքներով Հայաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի կառավարությունները հանդես են եկել համատեղ հայտարարությամբ, Վաշինգտոնը վերահաստատել էր իր աջակցությունը Հայաստանին։
Երեկ էլ Հայաստան է ժամանել ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի ռեսուրսների և կառավարման հարցերով առաջին տեղակալ Ռիչարդ Վերման, որը բավականին մեծ պատվիրակության գլուխ անցած մասնակցել է տեղական ժողովրդավարության հարցերին նվիրված հայ-ամերիկյան համաժողովին, մի շարք ուշագրավ հայտարարություններ արել։
Արտգործնախարարի հետ հանդիպմանն էլ Վերման նշել է, թե Վաշինգտոնը ցանկանում է ունենալ հստակ ճանապարհային քարտեզ, առ այն, թե ինչպես կարող են առաջընթաց գրանցել առանցքային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման, տնտեսության, առևտրի, մարդկանց միջև շփումների ոլորտներում։
Միրզոյանը և Վերման հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների զարգացումը դիտարկել են նաև ՀՀ դիմակայունության ամրապնդման համատեքստում։ Առաջիկայում, ըստ մեր տեղեկությունների, ամերիկյան ևս մեկ պատվիրակություն է ժամանելու Հայաստան քննարկելու արդեն քաղաքական և պաշտպանական ոլորտի համագործակցությունը։
ԱՄՆ-ն նաև հայտարարել էր պաշտպանության նախարարություն ռազմական խորհրդատուներ ուղարկելու Հայաստանի կարիքները գնահատելու մասին։ Այս ամենը վկայում է, որ Վաշինգտոնն այլևս անձամբ է ցանկանում տեղավորվել հարավ-կովկասյան տարածաշրջանում, իսկ հաշվի առնելով, որ Վրաստանը լայն քայլերով գնում է դեպի Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների մերձեցում, ըստ բազմաթիվ փորձագետների, Միացյալ Նահանգները նոր հենակետ է դիտարկում Հայաստանը։
Իհարկե, այդ ամենը ո՛չ հայերի և ո՛չ էլ Հայաստանի իշխանությունների գեղեցիկ աչքերի համար չէ որ արվում է, Ռուսաստանին տարածաշրջանից դուրս մղելու իրենց քայլերում արևմտյան իշխանություններն անհրաժեշտ պլաստդարմի կարիք ունեն և այդպիսին դիտարկում են հենց Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը։ Թե դա ի՞նչ հետևանքներ կարող է ունենալ մեր երկրի ապագայի համար, դեռևս պարզ կլինի առաջիկայում։
