«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երևի նորաձևության արդյունաբերությունը չգիտի կանացի ավելի առեղծվածային աքսեսուար, քան քողն է։ Այն, թաքցնելով դեմքը անծանոթներից, յուրօրինակ հմայքով ու նրբագեղությամբ է լցնում կնոջ կերպարը։ Այսպիսով, ո՞րն է այդ գլխազարդի առեղծվածը: Ինչպե՞ս է քողը ամբողջ աշխարհում գերել նորաձևության հարյուր հազարավոր սիրահարների: Ենթադրաբար, քողի պատմությունը սկսվել է Արևելքից, որտեղ կանայք ստիպված էին թաքցնել իրենց դեմքերը։ Քողը ծառայում էր որպես փարանջա, որը կրում էին կրոնական կամ դասակարգային պատկանելությունը ցույց տալու համար։ Շուտով այդ գլխազարդը լայն տարածում է գտել աշխարհի այլ ծայրերում՝ Եգիպտոսում, Հռոմում, Ասիայում և Հունաստանում։

Քողը Եվրոպա է մտել երկու խորհրդանշական գույներով. սպիտակ քողը՝ որպես մաքրության և անմեղության խորհրդանիշ, և սև քողը՝ որպես սգի և տխրության: Ենթադրաբար 14-15-րդ դարերում քող կրում էին ոչ միայն կանայք, այլ նաև մարդկության ուժեղ կեսը՝ այն ամրացնելով գլխարկներին։ Սակայն, ցավոք, դրա ապացույցներ չեն պահպանվել։ 19-րդ դարում քողի նորաձևության նոր բեկում է տեղի ունեցել: Որոշ տիկնայք սկսել են լայնեզր գլխարկներին կպցնել մեծ անցքերով ցանց-քողեր: Հետո նորաձևություն մեջ են մտել կոկիկ փոքրիկ գլխարկները, որոնց վրա ամրացված էին բարակ գործվածքից քողեր։ 20-րդ դարի 40-ական թվականներին դասական քողը նոր մրցակից է ունեցել՝ վուալետկան։ Դրանք պատրաստվում էին ավելի հաստ գործվածքից՝ ժանյակակար հավելումներով։

Այդ գլխազարդը նույնպես ճոխ զարդարում էին փետուրներով և ուլունքներով։ Հետագայում՝ 60-ականներին, քողը ձեռք է բերել առավելագույն ժողովրդականություն կանանց շրջանում։ Այդ ժամանակ է հայտնվել հաբ-գլխարկը, և ճակատը ծածկող քողի հետ միասին այդ գլխազարդն իսկապես շքեղ տեսք է ունեցել։ Անցյալ ժամանակներից ծանոթ տեսքով գլխարկներին ամրացված քողերը ներկայում կորցրել են իրենց ժողովրդականությունը։ Իհարկե, հիմա ամբողջ աշխարհում է ընդունված ամուսնությունների ժամանակ օգտագործել հարսնաքողը, և թեկուզ միայն այդ պատճառով կարելի է փաստել, որ քողը մոռացված չէ:

Այնուամենայնիվ, ցանց- քողը ևս չի մոռացվել: Նորաձևության դիզայներներն առաջարկում են հասարակ գլխարկները համադրել ցանցային քողերի հետ։ Հայտնի մարդիկ ևս անմասն չեն մնում դրանից. համացանցում կարելի է գտնել Լեդի Գագայի և Ռիհաննայի լուսանկարներն այդ առեղծվածային աքսեսուարով: Բացի դա, Մերիլին Մոնրոն ևս համարվում էր քողի մոլի երկրպագու։ Համադրելով քողը կիսասպորտային ոճի, վերարկուի և հարթ կոշիկների հետ՝ կանայք գրավիչ տեսք են ստանում, իսկ քողը առեղծված և հմայք է ավելացնում։
