Հռիփսիմե Արշակյանը գրում է․

«Թեպետ դեպքերի արագընթաց զարգացումը թույլ չի տալիս, որ բոլորս ակնդետ հետևենք քաղաքական անհատների կյանքին, գործունեությանն ու տեսակին, չենք կարող ժխտել, որ ասպարեզում վառ անհատականություն է ՀՅԴ ԳՄ անդամ քաղբանտարկյալ Գերասիմ Վարդանյանը, ով աչքի է ընկնում իր մարտնչող, չհանձնվող տեսակով։ Այս հատկանիշներն են, որ չափազանց մեծ վտանգ են ներկայացնում իշխող ուժի համար՝ ՄԵՐ ՀԱՅՐԵՆԻՔԸ թշնամուն հանձնելու ճանապարհին։

Արդեն երեք շարժում է. «Հայրենիքի փրկության շարժման», «Դիմադրություն» շարժման, «Սրբազան շարժման» ժամանակ այս հատկանիշները ճնշելու համար իշխող ուժն առաջին հերթին պայքարի ակտիվ փուլերում կալանավորում է հենց Գերասիմ Վարդանյանին. ինչու՞։

Արդեն բազմիցս ադրբեջանական լրատվականները անդրադարձել են Գերասիմ Վարդանյանի ելույթներին, որոնք ՄԵՐ ՀԱՅՐԵՆԻՔԻ շահերին են միտված եղել, նշել, որ Գերասիմին պետք է գերի վերցնել, փակել Բաքվի բանտում։ Այն, ինչ չի կարողանում անել մեր թշնամին, անում է փաշինյանական ռեժիմը։

Գերասիմ Վարդանյանը կամավորաբար անցել է երկու պատերազմով, անտեսելով անձնական շահերը՝ իրեն նվիրել է հայրենիքի համար պայքարին, իսկ այսօր հերթական անհիմն մեղադրանքով կալանավայրում է՝ զրկված տեսակցությունների, զանագերի ու արտաքին աշխարհի հետ կապ ունենալու իրավունքից։

Հաշվի առնելով Գերասի ու իր ընկերների ազդեցությունը Արարատի ու Վայոց ձոր մարզերում Գերասին ու մեզ ևս պարզ էր, որ Տիգրանաշենը հանձնելուց առաջ իրեն դժվար թե թողնեին ազատության մեջ, դրա համար էլ ձեռնաշղթաներով բանտ տեղափոխվելուց միակ ուղերձն ու մտահոգությունը Տիգրանաշենն էր. «Տիգրանաշենը պահե՛ք, հաջորդը՝ Տիգրանաշենն է»։

Դե մեզ էլ՝ որպես Գերասի ընկերներ, ինչ է մնում՝ հետևել մեր ընկերոջ կոչին, գոնե այս անգամ առանց Գերաս կարողանանք Տիգրանաշենը պահել»։
