Քննչական կոմիտեի մամուլի խոսնակ Գոռ Աբրահամյանը անդրադարձել է Գեղարքունիքի մարզի նախկին դատախազ Կարեն Խաչատրյանի մահվան դեպքին․

«Մի քանի բանավոր հարցումները հաշվի առնելով` հայտնում եմ հետևյալը։
 
2024թ. հուլիսի 07-ին՝ ժամը 00։35-ին, «Վարդենիս» ԲԿ-ից ահազանգ է ստացվել այն մասին, որ Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Լուսակունք գյուղում կանչով մեկնած շտապօգությունն արձանագրել է 54-ամյա Կարեն Խաչատրյանի մահը՝ հրազենի գործադրմամբ։
 
Դեպքի փաստով 2024թ. հուլիսի 07-ին ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 155-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով ՀՀ ՔԿ Գեղարքունիքի մարզային քննչական վարչության Վարդենիսի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ։
 
Նախաքննության շրջանակում ստացված խիստ նախնական, քննությամբ դեռևս լիարժեք ստուգման ենթակա տվյալներով Կ. Խաչատրյանը նույն օրը՝ ժամը 00։30-ի սահմաններում, իրենց տանը, իրեն ամրակցված «BERETTA APX» տեսակի հրազենը մաքրելու ժամանակ զենքի հետ անզգույշ վարվելու հետևանքով արձակված կրակոցից ստացել է կյանքի հետ անհամատեղելի հրազենային վնասվածք։
 
Դեպքի վայրի զննությամբ, բնակարանի հյուրասենյակում հայտնաբերվել է Կ. Խաչատրյանի մարմինը` աջ աչքի հատվածում հրազենային վնասվածքով։ Առգրավվել է հիշյալ հրազենը, մեկ կրակված պարկուճ, վերցվել են արյան հետքեր։
 
Նշանակվել են դիակի դատաբժշկական, դատաձգաբանական, դատակենսբանական և դատաքիմիական փորձաքննություններ։
 
Դեպքի հանգամանքները պարզելու համար ՀՀ ՆԳՆ ոստիկանության Վարդենիսի բաժնին տրվել է օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումներ ձեռնարկելու հանձնարարություն։
