Վաշինգտոնում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում տեղի ունեցած հանդիպմանն ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը իր գործընկեր՝ Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար Անալենա Բերբոքի հետ քննարկել է Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան բանակցային գործընթացի վերաբեյալ հարցեր, հայտնում է Ամերիկայի ձայնը։

Դրա մասին հաղորդում է պետքարտուղարության խոսնակ Մեթյու Միլերի տարածած հաղորդագրությունը:

«[Հանդիպմանը] քննարկվել է նաև Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղ համաձայնագրի կնքման ուղղությամբ ձեռք բերված առաջընթացը և ընդգծվել համաձայնության հնարավորինս արագ վերջնականացման կարևորությունը»,- ասված է Միլերի տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ:

Ըստ պետքարտուղարոթյան խոսնակի՝ պետքարտուղար Բլինքենը և արտաքին գործերի նախարար Բերբոքը վերահաստատել են նաև իրենց հաստատակամ աջակցությունն Ուկրաինային և քննարկել Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության կողմից եկող մարտահրավերները, այդ թվում՝ ՉԺՀ-ի աջակցությունը Ռուսաստանի ռազմաարդյունաբերական ոլորտին: Պետքարտուղարը և արտգործնախարարը քննարկել են կրակի անհապաղ դադարեցմանն ուղղված ջանքերը, որը կապահովի պատանդների ազատ արձակումը և մարդասիրական օգնության ավելացումը Գազայի հատվածում, ինչպես նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում հետագա էսկալացիան և Իրանի կողմից բխող ընդհանուր սպառնալիքը կանխելու կարևորությունը:
