40 տարվա մեջ առաջին անգամ Օլիմպիական խաղերը չեն ցուցադրվի Ռուսաստանում

Ռուսաստանում 40 տարվա մեջ առաջին անգամ Օլիմպիական խաղերը չեն ցուցադրվի, քանի որ «քաղաքական որոշում է կայացվել, որ ներկայիս իրողություններում անհնար է Օլիմպիական խաղերը ցուցադրել «Առաջին» և «Ռոսիա-1» հեռուստաալիքներով՝ առանց Ռուսաստանի դրոշի և օրհներգի։ Մրցումների հեռարձակման իրավունքի գնման բանակցությունները վարել են «Матч ТВ»-ն և ՎԿ հոլդինգը, սակայն պայմանագրեր այդպես էլ չեն կնքվել։
2023 թվականի դեկտեմբերին ՄՕԿ-ը որոշել է, որ Ռուսաստանի և Բելառուսի մարզիկներին կթույլատրվի մրցել միայն չեզոք կարգավիճակով՝ առանց իրենց երկրների դրոշների և ազգային մյուս հատկանիշների։ Այն մարզիկները, որոնք ակտիվորեն աջակցում են Ուկրաինայում պատերազմին, կամ ովքեր կապված են ռուսական կամ բելառուսական բանակի, այդ երկրների իրավապահ կառույցների և անվտանգության մարմինների հետ, չեն կարող մասնակցել խաղերին։
Ռուսաստանի օլիմպիական կոմիտեն (ՌՕԿ) այդ պայմաններն անվանել է «անարդար», սակայն նշել է, որ չի գնա «բոյկոտի ճանապարհով»։ Վերջին տվյալներով՝ 27 ռուս մարզիկ ՄՕԿ-ից թույլտվություն է ստացել մասնակցելու Փարիզի Օլիմպիական խաղերին։
