ՆԳՆ ոստիկանության ՊԾ Երևանի գնդի 4-րդ գումարտակի պարեկները հուլիսի 13-ի գիշերը՝ ժամը 2.19-ին, Մայիսի 9-ի փողոցում ստուգման նպատակով կանգնեցրել են «Ֆորդ» մակնիշի մի մեքենա։ Այդ ընթացքում մեքենայից իջել և փորձել է փախուստի դիմել մի երիտասարդ՝ նետելով ինչ-որ իրեր։ Պարեկները թմրամիջոց պահելու, օգտագործելու և սառը զենք պահելու կասկածանքով ձերբակալել և ոստիկանության Շենգավիթի բաժին են տարել փախուստի փորձ արած 19-ամյա երիտասարդին։ Անձնական խուզարկությամբ նրա մոտ հայտնաբերվել է «EKOL P29» տիպի ատրճանակ՝ լիցքավորված 3 փամփուշտով։ Մայիսի 9-ի փողոցի հարակից տարածքի զննությամբ հայտնաբերվել են երիտասարդի նետած իրերը՝ մարիխուանայի նմանվող դեղնականաչավուն զանգվածով փաթեթ և ծալովի դանակ:
19-ամյա երիտասարդը և կազմված փաստաթղթերը ներկայացվել են քննչական բաժին։ Նշանակվել է փորձաքննություն:
Հետագա միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ 19-ամյա երիտասարդը փետրվարի 5-ից հետախուզվում էր ծանր մարմնական վնասվածք պատճառելու մեղադրանքով։ Խափանման միջոցը՝ կալանք: Նա տեղափոխվել է քրեակատարողական հիմնարկ։
