«Իմ կյանքում ես մեկ հասուն սեր եմ ապրել, մնացածը հիացմունք է եղել, որը ավել ոչնչի չի վերածվել: Այն միակին, ում սիրել եմ ինքը հիմա չկա: Շատ ցավոտ էր, և անսպասելի, որովհետև մենք նրա հետ վաղուց արդեն ընկերներ էինք, դա իմ որոշումն էր ու նա հարգել էր իմ որոշումը: Ես առաջին հերթին նրան որպես մարդ էի սիրել և ընդունել, անընդհատ փորձում էի ինչ-որ թերություն փնտրել իր վարքի մեջ, չէր թողնում: Ես հասկացա, որ նա իմ տղամարդ տեսակն էր, միգուցե հենց դրա համար էր «սիրտս կպել»: Նա մյուս մայրցամաքում էր ապրում, մենք տարածության վրա էլ պահում էինք մեր ընկերությունը, ինձ համար ցավոտն այն էր, որ ես ուշ եմ իմացել այդ մասին, ու այդ մի քանի ամիսները, որ դեռ չգիտեի, ուրախ նկարներ էի հրապարակում, կարմիր շրթներկով, իմ կյանքով ապրում էի:
Հետո, երբ իմացա այդ մասին ընդհանուր ծանոթներից մեկից, չեմ կարող բառերով ասել, թե ինչ զգացի, միանգամից նստեցի հատակին: Մոտավոր մեկ շաբաթ չէր դադարում լացը: Շատ հարազատ մարդու կորուստ էր դա ինձ համար: Նա իմ հոգու ընկերն էր, բայց ես կարողացա դուրս գալ այդ ամենի միջից: Իմ ուժը դարձավ իմ ամենալավ ընկերը: Դրանից անցել է մոտ 4 տարի, ես մինչ օրս հիշում եմ նրա ծննդյան օրը: Նա առաջին հերթին իմ լավագույն ընկերն էր: Ես դա կանվանեմ սեր, որովհետև նրանից առաջ և հետո չեմ հանդիպել որևէ մեկին»,- «Սրտի տանիքներով» հաղորդման շրջանակներում՝ խոսելով իր անձնականի մասին պատմել է երգչուհի Աստղիկ Սաֆարյանը:
Նա նշել է, որ տղամարդու մեջ կարևորում է հենց տղամարդկությունը: «Իր կողքը քեզ պետք է զգաս կին: Արտաքինը ինձ համար ևս կարևոր է, չեմ ժխտի, որովհետև իմ արտաքինն էլ է ինձ համար կարևոր: Ազգությունն ինձ համար նշանակություն չունի, հայտնի խոսքեր կան՝ «մարդս մարդ լինի», կարևորը իմ հոգու ընկերը լինի»,- նշել է երգչուհին:
