В Бангладеш после гибели более 100 человек в результате столкновений введен комендантский час

В субботу солдаты вышли на улицы городов Бангладеш после очередного дня смертоносных столкновений между студенческими протестами и полицией , что заставило премьер-министра Шейх Хасину отменить зарубежный дипломатический тур.
В результате насилия на этой неделе погибли по меньшей мере 115 человек, согласно подсчетам полиции и больниц, проведенным AFP, и это бросает серьезный вызов автократическому правительству Хасины после 15 лет пребывания у власти.
В полночь вступил в силу комендантский час, и премьер-министр обратилась к военным с просьбой ввести войска после того, как полиция вновь не смогла усмирить массовые беспорядки.
Комендантский час будет действовать как минимум до 10:00 утра (0400 GMT) воскресенья, сообщила частная телекомпания Channel 24.
Протестующие требуют, чтобы государство прекратило выделять 30% государственных должностей семьям людей, участвовавших в войне за независимость от Пакистана в 1971 году. Правительство Хасины отменило систему квот в 2018 году, но Высокий суд восстановил ее в прошлом месяце. Правительство обжаловало приговор, и Верховный суд приостановил действие постановления Высокого суда до рассмотрения апелляции правительства 7 августа.
