Այսօր՝ հուլիսի 20-ին, կրակոցներ են հնչել Երևանում: Ժամը 13:30-ի սահմաններում ՀՀ ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնում օպերատիվ  տեղեկություններ են ստացվել, որ Արամ Խաչատրյան 23 շենքի բակում կրակոցներ են հնչել և կա վիրավոր:

Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, դեպքի վայր են ժամանել ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ բաժնի պետ Ռուբեն Ներսիսյանի, բաժնի պետի օպերատիվ գծով տեղակալ Սերգեյ Մամիկանյանի գլխավորությամբ:Ժամանել են նաև ՀՀ ՆԳՆ ոստիկանության Պարեկային ծառայության Երևան քաղաքի գնդի 4-րդ գումարտակի պարեկները՝ գնդի հրամանատար Անդրանիկ Իսախանյանի, գումարտակի հրամանատար Արմեն Գասպարյանի, գումարտակի հրամանատարի տեղակալ Կարեն Ավետիսյանի գլխավորությամբ:Մինչ դեպքի վայր կժամանեին ոստիկաններն ու պարեկները, «Իզմիրլյան» բժշկական կենտրոնից ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժին ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ հրազենային վնասվածքներով իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել մի քաղաքացի:Հիվանդանոց մեկնած ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնի քրեական հետախուզության և անչափահասների գործերով բաժանմունքների պետերը ճշտել են, որ վիրավորը Երևանի բնակիչ 38-ամյա Վարդան Դավթյանն է:

Դեպքի վայրից քիչ այն կողմ ոստիկաններն ու պարեկները հայտնաբերել են «Honda» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենա, որի վարորդի նստատեղում հայտնաբերվել են արնանման հետքեր, իսկ ավտոեմեքենայի սրահում առկա են կրակոցի հետքեր:Դեպքի մասին ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնից տեղեկությունը փոխանցել են ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Երևան քաղաքի քննչական վարչության Արաբկիրի քննչական բաժին, որտեղից ժամանել է քննչական խումբը՝ բաժնի պետի և օրվա պատասխանատու հերթապահ քննիչի գլխավորությամբ:

Դեպքի փաստով սպանության փորձի հատկանիշներով Արաբկիրի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ:Ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական բաժինը ձեռնարկում են անհրաժեշտ օպերատիվ-հետախուզական և քննչական համատեղ գործողություններ՝ դեպքի հանգամանքները պարզելու, կրակողի ինքնությունը ճշտելու, նրան և հանցագործության գործիք հրազենը հայտնաբերելու ուղղությամբ:

Դեպքի վայրում հավաքված մի քանի քաղաքացիներ, ովքեր հրաժարվեցին տեսախցիկի առաջ խոսել, ասում էին, որ վիրավորը Հայատսանի ծանրամարտի նախկին չեմպիոն է։
