«Հայացք» հաղորդման շրջանակներում շոումեն, հումորիստ, պրոդյուսեր և երաժիշտ Գարիկ Պապոյանն՝ անդրադառնալով իր հասցեին տարածված խոսակցություններին, թե իբրև ինքն աղանդավոր է, նշել է, որ թեման շատ ցավոտ է:
«Անցյալ տարի երեխաներիս մկրտելուց, երբ գնացի եկեղեցի, քահանայի հետ խոսում էի, ասաց, որ մյուս քահանան իրեն հարցրել է, թե ես աղանդավոր չե՞մ: Ես այնպիսի կիզակետերում եմ այդ նախադասությանը հանդիպում, այն քայլի ժամանակ, որ ապացուցում է, որ դա այդպես չէ, բայց այդ նախադասությունը դեռ ապրում է: Տարիներ առաջ, երբ այս թեմայից խոսում էի, բավականին երիտասարդ էի և թեմայի շուրջ անգրագետ էի: Խոսքս անգրագետ եմ ձևակերպել, բայց միտքս՝ ճիշտ ու անկեղծ: Ինձ հարցրեցին՝ «դուք Կյանքի խոսք աղանդի՞ց եք»: Ես պատասխանեցի՝ «Ոչ, ես Կյանքի խոսք եկեղեցուց չեմ: Եվ ասացի, որ ունեմ շատ ընկերներ, հարևաններ, ովքեր այնտեղից են: Քանի որ, ես չբնութագրեցի այն բառով, որով հոգևորականները կամ այլ մարդիկ բնութագրում են, միգուցե դա կատաղեցրեց: Հիմա էլ չեմ ընտրում այդ բառը, քանի որ ընկերներիս համար դա վիրավորական է»,- ասել է նա:
Գարիկը անկեղծացել է, որ մի քանի անգամ եղել է կաթոլիկ եկեղեցում, քահանայի հետ է զրուցել:
«Ունեի ընկեր, ով հրեա էր, շատ եմ խնդրել, որ մի բան անի, գնամ իրենց շաբաթին մասնակցեմ, ու մի անգամ մասնակցել եմ: Ինձ շատ հետաքրքիր է այս թեման: Երբ գնացել եմ Քարվաճառ ծառայության, ինձ հետ միայն մի բան եմ վերցրել՝ Աստվածաշունչ: Եվ, երբ ինձ հարցրեցին, և ես մաքսիմալ անկեղծ պատասխանեցի, որ այդ կառույցից չեմ, բայց ինձ հրավիրել են ու ես գնացել եմ, շոու էին կազմակերպել և անցնում եմ առաջ, հետո հսկայական վատ ալիք է սկսվում: Ես գիտեմ, որ այն կառույցը, որն այդ ալիքը սկսել էր, քաղաքական պատվերի տեսքով էր սկսել, որովհետև ես ընդդիմադիր բաների էի մասնակցում: Ամենացավալին այդ ալիքի մեջ այն մարդիկ չէին, ովքեր ինձ վիրավորում էին, ամենացավալին եկեղեցու կողմից արձագանքն էր: Եթե ես լինեի հոգևորական, մեկի վրա հարձակվեին, առաջին քայլը որ ես կանեի՝ կկանչեի այդ տղային, կփորձեի հասկանալ, գուցե սխալ տեղ է գնում, օգնենք, որ ճիշտ ճանապարհի կանգնի: Բացի այն, որ դա չեղավ, ինձ քարկոծելու շատ մեծ կոչեր եղան եկեղեցու նկարով, հոդվածներ եղան: Ինձ համար դա այնքան ցավոտ ու հիասթափեցնող թեմար էր, որ վերջին 15 տարում իմ լեքսիկոնից Աստծո մասին խոսքը առհասարակ հանեցի այդ ժամանակվա լարվածության պատճառով:
Իմ հավատքը միշտ եղել է, որովհետև ես պարզապես սիրում եմ Աստծուն, ինձ հետաքրքիր է ինձ ստեղծողը, նրա մասին ինձ ամեն ինչ հետաքրքիր է»,- նշել է Գարիկ Պապոյանն ու հարցին հստակ և վստահորեն պատասխանել ՝ դա սուտ է:
