Հուլիսի 24-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց ԱՄՆ Հայոց Արևելյան թեմի Եկեղեցասեր երիտասարդաց միությունների ավագ խմբի անդամներին՝ ուղեկցությամբ Ֆիլադելֆիայի Սուրբ Երրորդություն եկեղեցու հոգևոր հովիվ Արժանապատիվ Տ. Հակոբ քահանա Գևորգյանի: Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռից։
Հայցելով Վեհափառ Հայրապետի օրհնությունը՝ Տեր Հակոբը ներկայացրեց Մայր Աթոռ ժամանած երիտասարդներին՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ երիտասարդները Հայաստան են այցելել կամավորական ծրագրերին մասնակցելու համար, ինչպես նաև հաղորդակից լինելու հայրենիքի պատմամշակութային և հոգևոր ժառանգությանը։
Վեհափառ Հայրապետն իր ուրախությունը հայտնեց երիտասարդ հայորդիների Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին այցի առիթով` գոհունակությամբ հաստատելով, որ սփյուռքահայ հայորդիների մասնակցությունը տարբեր կամավորական աշխատանքներին ամրապնդում է նաև նրանց կապը հայրենիքի հետ և նպաստում հայրենասիրական ոգու զորացմանը։ Այս առիթով Վեհափառ Հայրապետը գնահատեց երիտասարդների ծառայանվիրումը` հորդորելով մշտապես իրենց կարողություններն ու հմտություններն ի սպաս դնել մարդասիրական ու բարեսիրական կամավորական ծրագրերին:
Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը երիտասարդներին պատգամեց անխաթար պահել իրենց ազգային ինքնությունն ու հավատարմությունը նախնյաց արժեքներին և գործուն կերպով ներգրավվել ազգային-եկեղեցական կյանքում:
