Աշխարհում նոր վիրուս է տարածվում. որոշ երկրներում կանանց կոչ են արել չհղիանալ մինչև 2018-ը

Զիկա վիրուսը, որն առաջին անգամ հայտնաբերվել է 1947թ․-ին Ուգանդայում այնքան էլ տարածված չէր մինչև 2013թ.-ը, երբ ֆրանսիական Պոլինեզիայի բնակչության մոտավորապես 11 տոկոսը վարակ ստացավ։ Այստեղից այն տարածվեց խաղաղօվկիանոսյան կզիներով։
Այժմ այս վիրուսը գլուխ է բարձրացրել Հարավային Ամերիկայի մի շարք երկրներում։ Հետազոտողների ենթադրությամբ՝ պատճառը 2014թ.-ին Բրազիլիայում անցկացված սպորտային միջազգային խաղերն են, որի ժամանակ էլ ամենայն հավանականությամբ վիրուսը ներթափանցել է երկիր խաղաղօվկիանոսյան երկրների բնակիչների կողմից։
Վիրուսի պատճառով Բրազիլիայում 2015 թվականի հոկտեմբերից փոքր գլխով 4000 երեխա է ծնվել: Այժմ Կոլումբիայում վիրուսով հիվանդությունների թիվը գերազանցել է 13 հազարը։
Միացյալ Նահանգների առողջապահության նախարարությունը երկրի քաղաքացիներին խորհուրդ է տվել խուսափել ավելի քան 20 երկիր այցելություններից:
Զիկա վիրուսի 3 դեպք է գրանցվել ԱՄՆ-ի Նյու Յորք նահանգում, 2 դեպք` Իսպանիայի Կատալոնիա շրջանում, 3 դեպք՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում։
Կոլումբիայի, Էկվադորի, Էլ Սալվադորի և Ճամայկայի իշխանությունները կանանց խորհուրդ են տվել առայժմ զերծ մնալ հղիանալուց, մինչև ավելի շատ բան հայտնի կդառնա մոծակների միջոցով (ենթադրվում է՝ նաև սեռական ճանապարհով ու արյան միջոցով) փոխանցվող Զիկա վիրուսի մասին, իսկ Էլ Սալվադորի առողջապահության նախարարությունը կանանց մասնավորապես խորհուրդ է տվել չհղիանալ մինչև 2018թ.-ը։
Զիկայի ախտանշանները մեծահասակների մոտ նման են գրիպի ախտանշանների, երբեմն դրանք կարող են նույնիսկ չարտահայտվել։ Հիվանդությամբ տառապող մարդկանց մոտ, սակայն, միկրոցեֆալիայով հիվանդ երեխաներ են ծնվում։ Հիշեցնենք, որ Զիկայի բուժումը դեռևս հայտնի չէ։
