На 46-й сессии Комитета всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО была обсуждена и одобрена представленная Арменией заявка о включении камней-драконов и культурного ландшафта археологического памятника Тиринкатар в Арагацотнском марзе Республики Армения в предварительный список всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. 

Министерство образования, науки, культуры и спорта (МОНКС) РА сообщает, что заседание проходит 20-30 июля в столице Индии Нью-Дели. В качестве координатора съезда участвует начальник Управления охраны памятников истории и культуры МОНКС РА Арутюн Ванян.

Это пятая заявка, зарегистрированная Арменией в предварительном списке Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Первые 4 были зарегистрированы в 1995 году. Это: древнее городище Двин, храм и древнее городище Ереруйк, Нораванк и верхняя долина реки Амагу, Татевский монастырь, Татевская пустыня и прилегающие территории долины реки Воротан (списки можно найти по следующей ссылке: https://whc.unesco.org/en/stateparties/am). 

В список всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО от Армении внесены монастыри Санаин и Ахпат, Эчмиадзинский собор, церкви и исторический памятник Звартноц, монастырь Гегард и верхняя долина реки Азат.

Регистрация памятника в предварительном списке Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО является обязательным и предварительным условием регистрации новых памятников в Списке всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Работа в этом направлении ведется постоянно. Новые приложения будут анонсироваться периодически.
