Иран отверг обвинения США о попытках повлиять на президентские выборы

Тегеран не ставит перед собой никаких задач по оказанию влияния на выборы президента США. Об этом заявил постоянный представитель Ирана при ООН Амир Саид Иравани.
«Иран не преследует целей и не ведет деятельности по влиянию на американские выборы. Большая часть этих обвинений - психологические операции, [направленные на то], чтобы создать видимость оживленной избирательной кампании», - приводит его слова агентство IRNA.
29 июля в докладе директора Нацразведки США утверждалось, что Тегеран якобы пытается «оказать влияние» на американские президентские выборы, которые состоятся 5 ноября, «так как иранские лидеры, вероятно, хотят избежать результата, который, по их мнению, усилит напряженность в отношениях с Соединенными Штатами». Американские средства массовой информации считают, что под исходом подразумевается победа кандидата от республиканцев Дональда Трампа.
22 июля МИД Ирана заявил, что для Тегерана «не имеет значения, какое правительство придет к власти, важно то, что Соединенные Штаты проводят враждебную к Ирану политику».
