LIFE
Լինեա Լաթանզիոն կատուների մեծ սիրահար է: Նա այնքան շատ է սիրում այս կենդանիներին, որ ապրում է ավելի քան 1000 կատվի հետ: 67-ամյա կինը ապրում է 6 ակր սեփականության մեջ և թույլ է տալիս իր կատուներին ազատորեն վազվզել 5 ննջասենյակներից բաղկացած իր տանը: Նա սկսել է խնամել կատուներին 1992թ. և այդ տարվա վերջին արդեն 96 կատվի է վերցրել իր խնամքի տակ:
1993թ. Լինեան դարձել է անասնաբուժական տեխնիկ, որպեսզի օգնի նվազեցնել կենդանիների բժշկական ծախսերը, և արդյունքում կատուների քանակը շարունակել է աճել: Այժմ նա վարում է «Կատուների տուն» հատուկ կազմակերպությունը: 24 տարվա ընթացքում ապրել է 28.000 կատուների հետ,դա ռեկորդ է:
Լինեան նշել է, որ հատուկ մտադրություն չի ունեցել 1000-ից ավելի կատու ունենալ, սակայն այդպես է ստացվել աստիճանաբար: Նա իր կատուների ապաստարանn ինքնուրույն է բացել, առանց դրսից որևէ ֆինանսական օգնության, ստիպված է եղել վաճառել մեքենան, ամուսնական մատանին: Այսօր Լինեան ու իր կամավորները հոգ են տանում մոտ 800 միջին տարիքի կատուների և 300 ձագուկների մասին: Նրանց նաև անհրաժեշտ բժշկական օգնություն են ցույց տալիս: Լինեան ցանկանում է նոր ընտանիքներ գտնել կատուների համար:
«Ես սիրում եմ կատուներին, որովհետև նրանք անկախ են, գեղեցիկ ու նրբագեղ»,- նշել է Լինեան:
