Կիրանցում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանապահների միջև վեճ չի եղել։ Sputnik Արմենիայի հարցմանն ի պատասխան հայտնեցին Հայաստանի ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունից։
Ավելի վաղ սոցիալական ցանցերում տեղեկություններ էին տարածվել այն մասին, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանապահների միջև մի քանի անգամ վեճեր են ծագել Կիրանց գյուղում նոր սահմանի վերաբերյալ: Sputnik Արմենիայի տեղեկություններով՝ Ադրբեջանի պետական սահմանապահ ծառայության աշխատակիցները պնդում են, որ նոր ճանապարհը, իբր, մասամբ անցնում է նաև ադրբեջանական տարածքով (ԽՍՀՄ ԶՈւ գլխավոր շտաբի քարտեզներով) ։
«Կիրանցի հատվածում նոր ճանապարհի երթուղու հետ կապված ՀՀ ԱԱԾ սահմանապահ զորքերի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանապահների միջև վիճաբանություններ տեղի չեն ունեցել։ Տավուշի մարզի Կիրանցի հատվածում սահմանազատումից հետո նոր ճանապարհի կառուցման վերաբերյալ Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության կողմից անհամաձայնություն հայտնելու մասին տեղեկություններ ԱԱԾ-ում չկան»,- նշված է գրավոր պատասխանում։
Տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարարությունից էլ Sputnik Արմենիայի հարցմանն ի պատասխան հայտնեցին, որ նոր ճանապարհի շինարարությունը սկսվել է արդեն սահմանազատման աշխատանքներից հետո։
«Կիրանցի կամուրջը շրջանցող նոր ճանապարհի երթուղին անցնում է ՀՀ սուվերեն տարածքով։ Կառուցվող ճանապարհի երթուղու փոփոխություն նախատեսված չէ»,- հայտնել են նախարարությունից։
