ЦАХАЛ заявил о гибели высокопоставленного члена ХАМАС в секторе Газа

Высокопоставленный член ХАМАС в секторе Газа Наэль Сахель , который, согласно утверждению израильской армии, «руководил нападениями на Западном берегу», был убит в результате недавнего авиаудара, сообщает Армия обороны Израиля (ЦАХАЛ).
По информации ЦАХАЛ, Сахель подвергся нападению 24 июля, а несколько дней спустя была получена информация о том, что он был убит.
По данным ЦАХАЛ, Сахель более десяти лет был членом штаб-квартиры ХАМАС на Западном берегу.
Израильская армия утверждает, что Сахель был причастен к финансированию и поставке оружия террористическим ячейкам на Западном берегу.
Впервые Сахель был задержан Израилем в 2003 году и приговорен к пожизненному заключению за участие в организации теракта смертником в Израиле. Затем он был освобожден и выслан в Газу в рамках сделки 2011 года, по которой Израиль обменял 1027 палестинцев на пленного солдата Гилада Шалита.
