Ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը կհանգեցնի կլիմայի կրիտիկական փոփոխության

«Հիդրոօդերևութաբանության և մոնիթորինգի կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ–ի տնօրեն Լևոն Ազիզյանը Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է․
«Երկրի վրա ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը լուրջ կլիմայական փոփոխություններ կառաջացնի մոլորակի վրա։ Այդ մասին գիտնականների միջազգային թիմը խոսել է Nature Communications ամսագրում հրապարակված իրենց աշխատության մեջ։
Հետազոտության մեջ դիտարկվում է չորս բնական համակարգեր, որոնք վճռորոշ են Երկրի կլիմայի համար՝ Ատլանտյան հոսանքները, Ամազոնի անձրևային անտառները և Արկտիկայի և Անտարկտիկայի սառցադաշտերը: Գլոբալ ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացման արդյունքում այդ համակարգերից առնվազն մեկի ոչնչացումը կհանգեցնի դոմինոյի էֆեկտի և մոլորակի կլիմայի զարգացման բեկումնային պահի։
Հաստատվել է, որ եթե ներկայիս կլիմայական միտումները շարունակվեն, ապա այս հարյուրամյակում բերկումնային պահի 45% վտանգ կա: Ռիսկը կավելանա նաև 1,5° շեմից բարձր ջերմաստիճանի յուրաքանչյուր 0,1° բարձրացման դեպքում:
Գիտնականները եկել են այն եզրակացության, որ բեկումնային պահից խուսափելը կպահանջի մինչև 2100 թվականը հասնել և պահպանել ջերմոցային գազերի զուտ զրոյական արտանետումներ: Հետազոտության արդյունքներն ընդգծում են, որ ընթացիկ տասնամյակում միայն արտանետումների ագրեսիվ կրճատումները կարող են կարևոր նշանակություն ունենալ համաշխարհային անվտանգության համար:
ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշն ավելի վաղ ասել էր, որ մինչև դարավերջ Երկրի ջերմաստիճանը կարող է բարձրանալ 2,8 աստիճանով, եթե երկրները չարմատականացնեն դեկարբոնիզացման իրենց ռազմավարությունը։ Այս ոլորտում հիմնական համաձայնագիրը 2015 թվականի Փարիզի կլիմայի համաձայնագիրն է, որը կոչ է անում միջոցներ ձեռնարկել սահմանափակելու գլոբալ ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը մինչև 1,5 °C, մինչև 2100 թվականը առավելագույնը 2 °C»:
