«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Լիզարդ գինին անչափ հետաքրքիր ալկոհոլային խմիչք է։ Թեև Lizard անունն այնքան էլ սովորական չէ արևմտյան լեզուների համար, բայց ունի շատ բանաստեղծական թարգմանություն և նշանակում է «հիացմունք»։ Այդ բառը հարավաֆրիկյան կոսա ցեղի լեզվից է։ Հաստատապես բոլորն են լսել Նելսոն Մանդելա անունը։ Նա հենց այդ ժողովրդի ներկայացուցիչներից մեկն է։

Հավանական է, որ այդ մայրցամաքի յուրօրինակության և ավանդական արժեքների պահպանման հանդեպ սերն է դրդել Imbuko Wines ընկերության հիմնադիրներին ստեղծել այդ զարմանալի ըմպելիքը: Ընկերությունը հիմնադրվել է 2004 թվականին և գտնվում է ՀԱՀ-ի Քեյփ նահանգում, որը գտնվում է Վելինգթոն քաղաքի մոտ։

Կան Lizard գինիների տարբեր տեսակներ: Եվ նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրն ունի իր առանձնահատկությունները, ինչպես նաև կա ինչ-որ ընդհանրություն արտադրության տեխնոլոգիայի մեջ, որը շատ բարդ է: Այսօր այդ շարքի գինիները բավականին տարածված են բարձրորակ ալկոհոլային խմիչքների իսկական գիտակների շրջանում, և դա՝ չնայած նրան, որ Imbuko Wines ընկերության բիզնեսը բավականին դանդաղ է զարգացել, և շուկա ներթափանցումը սկզբում այնքան էլ արագ տեմպերով չի եղել: Միայն իսկական գիտակը կարող է գնահատել այդ գինու ամբողջ փունջը, այդ իսկ պատճառով Lizard-ը կարելի է գտնել տարբեր գնային կատեգորիաների խանութներում:

Ամենահայտնիներից մեկը Lizard Chardonnay-ն է: Այն պատրաստված է Շարդոնե խաղողից։ Այդ ըմպելիքն ունի անսովոր ոսկեգույն երանգ և մեղրաջրի համ։ Գարու հոտի ինտոնացիաները ջերմություն և ինչ-որ յուրահատկություն են հաղորդում այդ գինուն, որն իդեալական է ձմեռային երեկոներին ընտանեկան բուխարիի մոտ խմելու համար: Ըմպելիքը հիանալի համադրվում է գրեթե ցանկացած ուտեստի հետ, հատկապես ճաշի համար մատուցվող ուտեստների: Նաև նման գինին հաճախ ավելացնում են տարբեր ուտեստներ պատրաստելիս ինչպես տանը, այնպես էլ թանկարժեք ռեստորաններում:

Նման գինի կարելի է ձեռք բերել մատչելի գնով, սակայն կան նաև բավականին բարձր գնով այդ խմբի այլ գինիներ, որոնք ունեն հատուկ հոտային ծաղկեփունջ և համարվում են էլիտար։ Հատկապես կանայք են սիրում այդ գինիները, քանի որ տղամարդիկ նախընտրում են ալկոհոլը համերի և հոտերի այլ համադրությամբ։ Հանրահայտ է նաև Lizard Merlot գինին։ Այն պատրաստված է Մերլո խաղողից։ Նրա հարուստ հատապտղային համը և ռուբինի գույնը նրան դարձնում են լավագույններից մեկը կարմիր գինիների շարքում: Այդ շարքում կան նաև ալկոհոլային խմիչքների այլ ապրանքանիշեր, որոնք ոչ պակաս հետաքրքիր են:
