ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր, ՌԴ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Գուրգեն Արսենյանը նշանակումից հետո «Ֆեյսբուք»-ի իր էջում գրառում է արել՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով գործընկերներին և ժողովրդին։ Այն ներկայացնում ենք՝ ստորև.
«Հանրապետության Վարչապետի առաջարկությամբ՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահի հրամանագրով նշանակվել եմ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան: Այդ կապակցությամբ արդեն վայր եմ դրել Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորի մանդատը, ինչպես նաև դադարեցրել եմ Միավորված աշխատանքային կուսակցության (ՄԱԿ) նախագահի լիազորությունները և կուսակցության անդամությունը:
Հարգելի հայրենակիցներ, ես գիտակցում եմ, որ քաղաքական զսպվածության սկզբունքը սահմանափակում է ներքաղաքական հարցերի վերաբերյալ կարծիք հայտնելու, հրապարակային քննարկումներում հանդես գալու դիվանագետի հնարավորությունները: Ուստի թույլ տվեք իմ գործունեության այս հանգրվանում, նախ, շնորհակալություն հայտնել ՄԱԿ-ի անդամներին և նրա հազարավոր համակիրներին՝ հանուն Հայրենիքի շենացման մեր համատեղ աշխատանքի համար:
1988 թվականից ի վեր Հայաստանի անկախության նվաճման և ամրապնդման համար պայքարում ձգտել եմ իմ համեստ ավանդը ներդնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքական և տնտեսական զարգացման գործում:
Առանձնապես կարևոր եմ համարում Ազգային ժողովում իմ՝ 15-ամյա խորհրդարանական գործունեության շրջանը, երբ հանդես գալով, նախ, որպես ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր, իսկ վերջին տարիներին՝ որպես իշխանության ներկայացուցիչ, ձգտել եմ նպաստել արդյունավետ պետական կառավարման համակարգի կայացմանը և հանրային համերաշխության ու համաձայնության հաստատմանը:
Անկեղծ երախտագիտություն եմ հայտնում «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խորհրդարանական խմբակցության իմ գործընկերներին՝ արգասաբեր և ներդաշնակ թիմային աշխատանքի համար:
Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հարգելի քաղաքացիներ, սիրելի ժողովուրդ, մեր անհատական ու խմբային ջանքերը որևէ արդյունք չէին տա, եթե չլիներ Ձեր հավատը, վստահությունը և բոլորանվեր աջակցությունը, որ ստացել ենք հատկապես մեր երկրի համար վճռորոշ ու ճակատագրական պահերին: Իմ որդիական խոնարհումը Ձեզ»:
