Հրաչ Մարտիրոսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան  իր էջում գրում է.

Թերթելով անցած մի քանի տարիների սևագիր գրառումներս տոների շուրջ՝ դժվարանում եմ թաքցնել զարմանքս, թե ինչ արագությամբ է Վալենտինը ետին պլան մղում Սուրբ Սարգսին։ Հատկապես հետաքրքիր է, որ հաճախ նույն մարդիկ, որ ծաղրել են Սուրբ Սարգսին ու թթվում են աղի բլիթի սիրագուշակության վրա, իրար ջերմորեն շնորհավորում են Վալենտինի տոնի առթիվ։ Փորձում եմ հասկանալ՝ ինչի՞ մեջ է դրսի մոդայի ուժը։ Այդ ի՞նչ ունի Վալենտինը, որ չունի մեր ժողովրդի սիրելի Սուրբ Սարգիսը։

Հեքիաթ՝ հեքիաթ. ավելի լավ չի՞ մեր հեքիաթը... Ուրիշ բան, եթե մերը չունենայինք։

Նույնն էլ անուններին է վերաբերում։ Խեղճ Աճառյանին հայհոյում են, թե մեր անունների մեծ մասը մեկնաբանում է որպես օտար։ Աճառյանն ի՞նչ մեղք ունի. ինչպես որ մեր ու ձեր նախնիներն են Կորյուն և Առյուծ հոյակապ՝ բնիկ անունների փոխարեն սկսել գործածել մերձիմաստ / նույնիմաստ Լևոն, Ղևոնդ, Ասլան կամ Լյովա անունները, այնպես էլ հիմա դուք, այդ բոլորով չբավարարված, գերադասում եք Լեո-ն։ Կամ չքնաղագույն Լուսիկ կամ Լուսինե անվան փոխարեն՝ Լյուսյա, հիմա էլ՝ Լյուսի։ Լավ եք անում, ձեր երեխաներն են՝ ձեր գործն է, ուզում եք ավելի ժամանակակից հնչի։ Առողջ լինեն ձեր բալիկները։ Բայց ընդամենը երկու բան եմ ուզում ընդգծել. 1) այնուամենայնիվ չեմ հասկանում՝ մի՞թե Կորյուն-ն ու Լուսիկ-ը հնացած են կամ վատ են հնչում. 2) հենց ձեր օրինակը հստակ ցույց է տալիս, որ մարդը միշտ էլ վազել ու վազում է օտար-մոդայիկի հետևից, ուստի Աճառյանին այլևս չմեղադրեք։

Սուրբ Սարգիս-ն ինքն էլ ծագումով հայկական չէ։ Այնուամենայնիվ այն արդեն երկար ճանապարհ է մեր մշակույթի ամուր մասնիկն է։ Եվ հետո՝ այդ անվան տակ ամենայն հավանականությամբ թաքնված է մի շատ ավելի հին՝ նախաքրիստոնեական կերպար, որ քրիստոնեության մուտքից հետո հազիվ թե հնար ուներ իր նախնական անվամբ պահպանվելու։
