ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Լիլիթ Մակունցը Չիկագոյում է՝ մասնակցելու ԱՄՆ Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ազգային համագումարին

Օօգոստոսի 18-23-ը ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Լիլիթ Մակունցը աշխատանքային այցով գտնվում է Իլինոյս նահանգի Չիկագո քաղաքում՝ մասնակցելու ԱՄՆ Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ազգային համագումարին։ Այս մասին հայտնում են ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանությունից։

«Այցի առաջին օրը դեսպան Մակունցը Չիկագոյում ՀՀ պատվավոր հյուպատոս Օսկար Թաթոսյանի հետ միասին հանդիպել է Չիկագոյի հայ համայնքի երիտասարադների հետ։ Հանդիպման ընթացքում մտքեր են փոխանակվել Հայաստան-Սփյուռք հարաբերությունների, մասնավորապես այդ ոլորտում իրականացվող երիտասարդական ծրագրերի, Հայաստան-ԱՄՆ երկկողմ հարաբերությունների հիմնական ուղղությունների և դրանց զարգացման հեռանկարների, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի անվտանգային իրավիճակի, հարևան երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների վերաբերյալ։ Դեսպանը երիտասարդներին է ներկայացրել իրենց հետաքրքրող ոլորտների վերաբերյալ ՀՀ պետական քաղաքականությունը, անդրադարձել է խաղաղության օրակարգին, «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծին, ինչպես նաև Բարձր տեխնոլոգիական արդյունաբերության ու Սփյուռքի հանձնակատարի գրասենյակի կողմից իրականացվող ծրագրերին։

Նույն օրը երեկոյան Պատվավոր հյուպատոսի գրասենյակի կողմից կազմակերպվել է ընդունելություն՝ ի պատիվ դեսպան Լիլիթ Մակունցի, որին մասնակցել են Իլինոյս նահանգից ընտրված կոնգրեսական Ռաջա Կրիշնամուրթին, ՀՀ-ից Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության համաժողովին մասնակցելու նպատակով ժամանած պատգամավորներ Սարգիս Խանդանյանը, Ծովինար Վարդանյանը և Սոնա Ղազարյանը, Ֆրեզնոյում և Օհայոյում ՀՀ պատվավոր հյուպատոսները, Չիկագոյում հավատարմագրված դիվանագիտական կորպուսի (գլխավոր և պատվավոր հյուպատոսություններ), հայ համայնքի և մասնագիտական շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչներ, գիտնականներ։

Միջոցառման պաշտոնական հատվածում ելույթներով հանդես են եկել Չիկագոյում պատվավոր հյուպատոս Օսկար Թաթոսյանը, կոնգրեսական Ռաջա Կրիշնամուրթին, Չիկագոյի պատվավոր հյուպատոսների ավագ, Չիկագոյում Բելգիայի Թագավորության պատվավոր հյուպատոս Փոլ Վան Հալթերենը, ինչպես նաև դեսպան Լիլիթ Մակունցը։ Իր խոսքում դեսպանը բարձր է գնահատել ՀՀ պատվավոր հյուպատոսի գրասենյակի գործունեությունը, շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար, անդրադարձել՝ Հայաստան-Սփյուռք հարաբերություններին՝ կարևորելով Սփյուռքի ներուժի ներգրավումը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զարգացման և անվտանգության ամրապնդման գործում», - ասված է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
