SHAMSHYAN.com-ի տեղեկություններով օգոստոսի 16-ին, արտակարգ դեպք է տեղի ունեցել Արագածոտնի մարզում։ Ժամը 02։40-ի սահմաններում ՀՀ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժին են զանգահարել «Էջմիածին» բժշկական կենտրոնից և հայտնել է, որ Աշտարակ քաղաքի «Երևան Սիթիի» դիմաց անհայտ անձի կողմից դանակով հարված հասցնելու հետևանքով «ձախ բազկի կտրած-ծակած, արյունահոսող վերք» ախտորոշմամբ ժամը 02։00-ի սահմաններում իրենց մոտ բուժօգնության է դիմել մի քաղաքացի։
Shamshyan.com-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ հիվանդանոց է մեկնել ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքի օպերլիազորի գլխավորությամբ, որտեղ պարզվել է, որ բուժօգնության տեղափոխված քաղաքացին Լոռու մարզի բնակիչ 20-ամյա Վազգեն Ս․-ն ։Պարզվել է նաև, որ նույն օրը ժամը 01։30-ի սահմաններում Աշտարակ քաղաքի Տիգրան Մեծի փողոցում գործող «Երևան Սիթի» սուպերմարկետի մոտ անհայտ անձն անհիմն վիճաբանել է Վազգեն Ս․-ի հետ, որի ժամանակ էլ իր մոտ եղած կտրող-ծակող գործիքով մեկ անգամ հարվածել է նրան՝ պատճառելով վերոնշված մարմնական վնասվածքը:
Ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժնի քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքում ձեռնարկված օպերատիվ հետախուզական միջոցառումների ադյունքում պարզվել է, որ նշված հանցանքը կատարել է Արագածոտնի մարզի բնակիչ 23-ամյա Կիրակոս Մ․-ն, ով նույն օրը ժամը 05։00-ի սահմաններում Աշտարակ քաղաքի Տիգրան Մեծ փողոցից անմիջական ծագած հիմնավոր կասկածանքի հիման վրա ձերբակալվել և տեղափոխվել է ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժին, որտեղ խոստովանել է կատարվածը:
Դեպքի փաստով ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժնում ձևակերպվել են փաստաթղթեր, որոնք փոխանցվել են ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեի Արագածոտնի մարզային քննչական վարչություն, որտեղ նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ։Քննիչի որոշմամբ Կիրակոս Մ․-ն ձերբակալվել և տեղափոխվել ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժնի ձերբակալվածների պահման վայր։Գ․ Շամշյանի տեղեկություններով՝ Վազգեն Ս․-ն ՀՀ ՊՆ ծառայող է:
