Հայկական ճարտարապետությունը էական ավանդ է ներդրել համաշխարհային ճարտարապետության զարգացման մեջ։ Այս մասին «Պատմամշակութային ժառանգության խնդիրները հետխորհրդային շրջանում» թեմայով միջազգային համաժողովում, որն անցկացվում է օգոստոսի 29-ին Հայաստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայում, հայտնել է գերմանացի փորձագետ Միխայիլ Իլչենկոն Արեւելայն Եվրոպայի պատմության եւ մշակույթի Լեյբնից ինստիտուտից (Լեյպցիգ)։

Նրա խոսքով՝ հայկական ճարտարապետության գլխավոր առանձնահատկությունը արդիականացման հայտն է եւ մշակութային ժառանգության թարմացումը։ Նա ավելացրել է, որ հայկական ճարտարապետությունում համադրվում են ամենաարդիական համաշխարհային միտումները եւ ավանդական հայկական ոճերը։

Իլչենկոն հիացմունք է հայտնել ժամանակակից Երեւանի հատակագծի հետ կապված, որն ստեղծվել է խորհրդային ժամանակներում Ալեքսանդր Թամանյանի կողմից՝ այն անվանելով հանճարեղ։ Նա նշել է, որ այդ հատակագծի շնորհիվ է Երեւանը դարձել խիստ արագ զարգացող։

Նրա խոսքով՝ 1960-70-ական թթ. տեղի են ունեցել լուրջ փոփոխություններ, ավելացել է քաղաքի բնակչության թիվը, որը վերածվել է Խորհրդային Միության խոշոր քաղաքներից մեկին։ Փորձագետը հիշեցրել է, որ հենց այդ ժամանակ են կառուցվել «Ծիծեռնակաբերդ» հուշահամալիրը՝ նվիրված Ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիիշատակին, «Սարդարապատը»՝ 1918թ. գոյամարտին թուրքական կանոնավոր բանակի դեմ պայքարին։

Իլչենկոն նշել է, որ այսօր սոցիալիստական շրջանի ճարտարապետությունը վերիմաստավորվում է եւ աստիճանաբար հեռանում այդ շրջանի գաղափարաբանությունից։
