Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին այսօր նշում է Ս. մարգարեներ Եզեկիելի, Եզրի և Զաքարիայի՝ Ս. Հովհաննես Մկրտչի հոր հիշատակության օրը։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք qahana.am-ից։

Մարգարեությունը Հին Կտակարանի կարևոր երևույթներից է: Մարգարեն այն մարդն է, ով Աստծո հետ սերտ հարաբերություն է ունեցել, սուրբ գրային բառով՝ «Աստծո հետ խոսել» է, կա՜մ Նրանից պատգամ ստացել, կա՜մ էլ Աստծո կողմից ուղարկվել է որևէ անձի կամ ժողովրդի պատգամ հաղորդելու համար: Ճշմարիտ մարգարեի հիմնական հատկանիշն անկաշառ, անկախ, անվախ և աստվածային խոսքին ծայրաստիճան հավատարիմ լինելն է: Մարգարեությունների հեղինակն Աստված Ինքն է: Նա Իր հայտնությունը Ս. Հոգու ներշնչմամբ տվել է մարդուն, նախ գաղափարներն է ներշնչել, ապա մարդն այդ ազդեցության ներքո, տրված գաղափարները յուրացնելով` մտքի, սրտի և հոգու ինքնատիպությամբ փոխանցել է ժողովրդին: 

Եզեկիելը Երուսաղեմի տաճարի քահանաներից էր: Երուսաղեմի գրավումից ու կործանումից հետո, Ն. Ք. 597 թվականին, Նաբուգոդոնոսոր արքան նրան մյուս իսրայելացիների հետ Բաբելոն է աքսորում: Աստված նրան 4 տարի անց կանչում է, որպեսզի դառնա իր մարգարեն: Աքսորավայրից Եզեկիելը նախազգուշացումներ է անում ինչպես Բաբելոն գերեվարված հրեաներին, այնպես էլ Երուսաղեմում մնացածներին: Նա այդ նախազգուշացումներին հավելում է նաև մխիթարական և հուսադրող խոսքեր: Եզրի քահանայության սկիզբը համարվում է Ն. Ք. 397 թվականը: Նրա կարևորագույն ձեռնարկն իրայելացիներին ետ պահելն էր օտար ամուսնություններից, որոնք ոչ միայն պատճառ էին դառնում ճշմարիտ Աստծուց հեռանալուն, այլև խաթարում էին նրանց ազգային դիմագիծն ու նկարագիրը: Եզրը նաև համադրեց Մովսեսի օրենքները:

Զաքարիան Ս. Հովհաննես Մկրտչի հայրն էր, որ քահանայություն էր անում Երուսաղեմի տաճարում: Նա և իր կինը՝ Եղիսաբեթը, ով Ս. Կույս Մարիամի մայր Աննայի քույրն էր, երկար տարիներ ամուլ էին: Երբ Զաքարիան, ծերության տարիքին հասած, Երուսաղեմի տաճարում զոհ էր մատուցում, հրեշտակն ավետում է, որ նա որդի պիտի ունենա: Հրեշտակի ավետմանը կասկածելու պատճառով Զաքարիան համրության պատիժն է կրում մինչև իր որդու՝ Ս. Հովհաննես Մկրտչի ծնունդը: Նահատակվել է տաճարում՝ սրախողխող լինելով Ս. Խորանի առջև այն բանի համար, որ թաքցրել էր իր որդուն Հերովդեսի զինվորներից:
