ArmLur.am-ի տեղեկությունների համաձայն` զինծառայող Էդգար Սարգիսի Ալեքսանյանի մահվան գործով ժամկետային զինծառայող է ձերբակալվել։

Ըստ նախնական վարկածի` զինվորը դիրքում հենց խրամատի մեջ իրեն ամրակցված զենքով ծնոտին կրակել է ու վերջ տվել կյանքին։
Ինչի՞ց դրդված է նա գնացել այդ քայլին, արդյո՞ք նրան հասցրել են ինքնասպանության, այս պահին իրավապահները քննում են հենց այդ հանգամանքը։
Արդյունքում կոմիեն այսօր հայտնեց , որ Սեպտեմբերի 2-ին հաղորդում է ստացվել այն մասին, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 10:10-ի սահմաններում, ՀՀ ՊՆ N զորամասի պահպանության գոտու մարտական դիրքում հայտնաբերվել է զինծառայող Էդգար Սարգիսի Ալեքսանյանի դին՝ նախնական տվյալներով՝ իրեն հասցված մահացու հրազենային վիրավորումով:
Ստացված հաղորդման առթիվ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի զինվորական քննչական գլխավոր վարչության երրորդ կայազորային քննչական բաժնում ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 522-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 3-րդ կետով նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ. Զորամասում կամ զինվորական ծառայություն կրելու այլ վայրում զինծառայողին սպառնալիքի, դաժան վերաբերմունքի կամ անձնական պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը նվաստացնելու միջոցով անզգուշությամբ ինքնասպանության կամ ինքնասպանության փորձի հասցնելը մեկ այլ զինծառայողի կողմից՝ մարտական հերթապահություն կամ մարտական ծառայություն կրելու ընթացքում՝
պատժվում է ազատազրկմամբ՝ հինգից տասը տարի ժամկետով:
Ձևավորվել է քննչական խումբ։ Կատարվել է դեպքի վայրի զննություն: Դիակի արտաքին զննությամբ կզակի շրջանում հայտնաբերվել է հրազենային վնասվածք: Բռնության այլ հետքեր չեն արձանագրվել։
Նշանակվել է դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություն»։
