Նրա խոսքով, ձուն ունի յուրահատուկ բաղադրություն. այն պարունակում է ինը էական ամինաթթուներ, լյուտեին և զեաքսանտին, խոլին և վիտամին D: Սա սպիտակուցի ամենամատչելի աղբյուրներից մեկն է, որը կարելի է գտնել ցանկացած խանութում: Ավելին, ձվերը կարելի է պահել սառնարանում մինչև 5 շաբաթ՝ դրանք այնքան էլ արագ չեն փչանում։

«Արտադրանքը շատ վեճերի առարկա է դարձել, հատկապես դրա բարձր խոլեստերինի պարունակության պատճառով, որը կապված է սրտի հիվանդությունների բարձր ռիսկի հետ: Այնուամենայնիվ, դեղնուցները պարունակում են խոլեստերինի օրական օպտիմալ պահանջը` մոտ 250-300 մգ 100 գ մթերքի համար: Սա հենց այն քանակությունն է, որը խորհուրդ է տրվում օգտագործել օրական սննդի մեջ»,- պարզաբանել է նա։ Հետազոտությունները ցույց են տալիս, որ սննդամթերքից ստացված խոլեստերինը նվազագույն ազդեցություն ունի «վատ խոլեստերինի» մակարդակի փոփոխության վրա: Դա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ մարմինը բնականաբար «հարմարվում է» արյան մեջ խոլեստերինի մակարդակի փոփոխություններին:

Այսինքն, երբ սննդի մեջ հանկարծակի ավելանում է խոլեստերինը (օրինակ՝ ձվից), օրգանիզմն արձագանքում է՝ կարգավորելով սեփական խոլեստերինի արտադրությունը և պահպանելով հավասարակշռությունը։

«Առողջ մարդուն խորհուրդ է տրվում երկու օրը մեկ ձու ուտել, դա բավական կլինի։ Արյան մեջ խոլեստերինի մակարդակի որոշակի փոփոխություններ ունեցողների համար կարևոր է ուշադրություն դարձնել ձվի օգտագործմանը։ Այս դեպքում ավելի լավ է ուտել միայն սպիտակուցը և/կամ ձվածեղ պատրաստել ձվի «սպիտակ» մասից։ Հացաբուլկեղենի մեջ ձուն կարող եք փոխարինել խնձորով կամ բանանի խյուսով»,- նշել է սննդաբանը։

Սննդից անհրաժեշտ քանակությամբ միկրոէլեմենտներ, վիտամիններ և հանքանյութեր ստանալու բանալին բազմազան սննդակարգն է:
