Հայաստանում ՌԴ դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը հայտարարել է, թե ԵՄ առաքելությունը, որն աշխատում է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին, մոնիթորինգի անվան տակ հետախուզական տվյալներ է հավաքում Ռուսաստանին, Ադրբեջանին և Իրանին հակազդելու համար։ «Շատ ռիսկեր, որոնց այսօր բախվում է Հայաստանը, կարելի էր մեղմել, եթե 2022 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Երևանը համաձայներ ՀԱՊԿ-ի միջոցով Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանին իրավիճակը կայունացնելու միջոցառումների փաթեթ իրականացնելու առաջարկին։ Խոսքը լուրջ նախաձեռնությունների մասին էր, այդ թվում՝ ռազմատեխնիկական աջակցության, դիտորդական առաքելություն ուղարկելու, սահմանապահ զորքերի պատրաստման հարցում աջակցության։ Ցավոք, Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը նախընտրեց հրավիրել ԵՄ առաքելությանը, որն ամենևին էլ չի պաշտպանում պետության սահմանները, այլ մոնիթորինգի անվան տակ հետախուզական տվյալներ է հավաքում Ադրբեջանի, Իրանի և Ռուսաստանի դեմ»,- ասել է նա։

Ըստ Կոպիրկինի՝ Հարավային Կովկասի ճակատագիրը պետք է որոշեն բացառապես տարածաշրջանի երկրները և հարևան գործընկեր պետությունները, իսկ դրսից ոչ ոք խաղաղություն և բարգավաճում չի բերի ընդհանուր տանը։

Տարօրինակ զուգադիպությամբ, Հայաստանում ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելության դեմ հայտարարություններ հնչում են նաև Բաքվից։ Ադրբեջանի նախագահի օգնական Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը հայտարարել է, թե Սահմանազատման հանձնաժողովների համատեղ գործունեության մասին կանոնակարգի համաձայնագիրը բավարար հիմք է Եվրամիության քաղաքացիական առաքելությունը Հայաստանից դուրս բերելու համար։ Երևանը հայտարարել է, թե բարձր է գնահատում Հայաստանում ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելության դերը տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության և կայունության ապահովման գործում։

Դիտորդական առաքելության նկատմամբ վերապահումներ ունի նաև Թեհրանը, որը դժգոհ է արտատարածաշրջանային ուժերի՝ Հարավային Կովկասում հայտնվելու հանգամանքից։ Թե՛ Ռուսաստանը, թե՚ տարածաշրջանի մյուս երկներն օբյեկտիվորեն են դեմ դիտորդական առաքելությանը, քանի որ Արևմուտքի ներկայությունը վնասում է նրանց կենսական շահերին։ Հայկական կողմն, իհարկե, կարող է փաստարկել, որ դիտորդական առաքելությունը զսպում է Ադրբեջանի ախորժակը, սակայն ռազմական էսկալացիայի դեպքում այն միայն հրահրիչ դեր է խաղալու, ու որևէ կերպ անզեն դիտորդները չեն կարողանալու կանխել հնարավոր հարձակումը։
