Բաքուն չի միանա հակառուսական պատժամիջոցներին, այս մասին ասել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը՝ միաժամանակ աջակցություն հայտնելով Ուկրաինայի տարածքային ամբողջականությանը: Այս մասին հայտնում են ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները:
«Մենք վճռականորեն պաշտպանում ենք Ուկրաինայի և բոլոր երկրների տարածքային ամբողջականությունն ու ինքնիշխանությունը։ Բայց միևնույն ժամանակ մենք չենք եղել և չենք լինելու հակառուսական պատժամիջոցների արշավի մաս»,- ասել է նա:
Բացի այդ, Ալիևը չի բացառել Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի միջև հակամարտության կարգավորմանն Ադրբեջանի մասնակցության հնարավորությունը։
«Եթե խոսենք հիպոթետիկ հնարավորության մասին, ապա դա միանգամայն իրագործելի է։ Նախ, հաշվի առնելով, որ Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետ միասին մենք 70 տարի եղել ենք ԽՍՀՄ կազմում, մենք տարբեր կապեր ենք պահպանում անձնական շփումների և քաղաքական մակարդակներում։ Այսօր մենք Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետ մեր հարաբերությունները շատ լավ ենք համարում»,- ասել է նա:
Ալիևը նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանը կարող է որոշակի դերակատարություն ունենալ այս գործընթացում՝ հաշվի առնելով երկու երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների պրագմատիզմը։
«Մենք երբեք չենք նախաձեռնել դա։ Ես գիտեմ, որ կան շատ ուրիշներ, ովքեր ցանկանում են մասնակցել դրան: Բայց եթե մեր մասնակցությունը պահանջվի, մենք պատրաստ ենք»,- հավելել է պետության ղեկավարը։
