1. Հատապտուղների հյութեր
Թեև նարնջի հյութը հիանալի միջոց է օրը սկսելու համար, այլ մրգերի և հատապտուղների հյութերը կարող են պաշտպանել ձեր գենետիկ կոդը: Մի շարք հատապտուղների խառնուրդներ այժմ հասանելի են ամենուր՝ սուպերմարկետներում, սրճարաններում, մրգային բարերում և սմուզիների վաճառակետերում: Մուգ գույնի հատապտուղները հարուստ են կենսաբանորեն ակտիվ նյութերով, օրինակ՝ անտոցիանիններով և այլ պոլիֆենոլներով, որոնք ունեն ուժեղ հակաօքսիդանտ հատկություն։
Համոզված լինելու համար գիտնականները հատապտուղների հյութից հանել են պոլիֆենոլները և կրկնել փորձը։ Այս անգամ արյան նմուշները ԴՆԹ-ի պաշտպանվածության բարձրացում չեն ցույց տվել՝ ապացուցելով որ օգուտները հենց այս կենսաբանական ակտիվ միացություններից են ստացվել։
2. Կիվի
Շոտլանդիայի Rowett հետազոտական ինստիտուտի գիտնականները գնահատել են ԴՆԹ-ի վնասումը կանխելու կիվիի կարողությունը: Նրանք հավաքագրեցին տասնչորս առողջ կամավորների և նրանց տվեցին մեկ, ապա երկու, ապա երեք միրգ օրական որոշակի ժամանակահատվածների համար:
Արդյունքները ցույց են տվել, որ կիվիի օգտագործումը, անկախ քանակից, նվազեցրել է ԴՆԹ-ի վնասման մակարդակը մոտավորապես 60%-ով։ Ավելի մանրակրկիտ ուսումնասիրությունը ցույց է տվել, որ օրական երեք կիվին ավելացնում է ԴՆԹ-ի վերականգնման ակտիվությունը 66%-ով։ Այսպիսով, կիվին ոչ միայն չեզոքացնում է ազատ ռադիկալները, այլև օգնում է վնասված ԴՆԹ-ին ավելի արագ ձևավորվել։
3. Գազար
Գազարը զարմանալի բանջարեղեն է, որը հարուստ է արժեքավոր կենսաբանական ակտիվ նյութերով, որոնք կոչվում են «կարոտինոիդներ»: Այս տերմինն, ի դեպ, ուղղակիորեն կապված է հենց բանջարեղենի անվան հետ (անգլերեն «գազար» բառից):
Կարոտինոիդները վառ կարմիր-դեղին պիգմենտներ են, որոնք հայտնաբերված են բազմաթիվ բուսական մթերքներում: Բայց նրանց հիմնական հատկությունը հզոր հակաօքսիդանտ ազդեցությունն է, որը կարող է պաշտպանել մարմինը վնասից:
Կենսաբանական գիտությունների Quadram ինստիտուտի բրիտանացի գիտնականները հետաքրքիր հետազոտություն են անցկացրել։ Նրանք դիտարկել են 46 տղամարդու, ովքեր 3 շաբաթվա ընթացքում օրական 2,5 բաժակ (0,5 լիտր) գազար են օգտագործել՝ ի հավելումն իրենց սովորական սննդակարգի: Փորձի մասնակիցների համար կարոտինոիդների աղբյուր էր հատուկ պատրաստված գազարի խյուսը (խաշած և մանրացված):
Արյան անալիզները ցույց են տվել, որ գազար ուտելուց 3 շաբաթ հետո կամավորների մոտ ԴՆԹ-ի վերականգնման ակտիվությունը զգալիորեն աճել է, թեև վնասի մակարդակը սկզբում չի փոխվել։ Այլ կերպ ասած, գազարը չի կանխում ԴՆԹ-ի վնասումը, բայց օգնում է արդյունավետ կերպով վերականգնել այն:
