Գիտնականները հայտնել են գլխուղեղի ագրեսիվ ուռուցքի դեմ պայքարում էժան հակադեպրեսանտի արդյունավետության մասին

Էժան հակադեպրեսանտը կարող է օգնել գլխուղեղի հատկապես ագրեսիվ, ներկայում անբուժելի ուռուցքի բուժմանը, պարզել են շվեյցարացի գիտնականները առաջին լաբորատոր հետազոտությունների ընթացքում։
Գոյություն ունեն գլիոբլաստոմայի՝ գլխուղեղի տարածված, արագ աճող ուռուցքի բուժման մի քանի մեթոդներ։ Այս հիվանդությունն սպանում է պացիենտների մեծ մասին 12-18 ամիսների ընթացքում։
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, գլխուղեղի քաղցկեղը դժվար է բուժվում, քանի որ հեմատոէնցեֆալիկ պատնեշը՝ բջիջների շերտը, որը գործում է որպես զտիչ կենտրոնական նյարդային համակարգի եւ մնացած օրգանիզմի միջեւ, դժվարացնում է դեղերի հասանելիությունն ուռուցքներին։
Նոր հետազոտության համար Ցյուրիխի Համալսարանական հիվանդանոցի գիտնականները թեստավորել են 132 դեղամիջոց գլիոբլաստոմա ունեցող պացիենտների քաղցկեղային հյուսվածքների վրա, որոնք վերջերս վիրահատության են ենթարկվել, համակարգչային մոդելավորման եւ լաբորատոր մկների վրա հետազոտությունների համադրմամբ։
Նրանք հիմնականում ուսումնասիրել են այն դեղերը, որոնք կարող են թափանցել հեմատոէնցեֆալիկ պատնեշի միջոցով, ներառյալ հակադեպրեսանտները, Պարկինսոնի հիվանդության դեղերը եւ նեյրոլեպտիկները։ Փորձերի ժամանակ վորտիոկսետին հակադեպրեսանտը լավագույն արդյունքներն է ցուցադրել եւ «բացառիկ կայուն» է եղել, ըստ հետազոտության, որի արդյունքները հրապարակվել են Nature Medicine ամսագրում։ Քաղցկեղային բջիջների թեստերի ընթացքում վորտիոկսետինը արդյունավետ է եղել ուռուցքների դեմ պայքարում պացիենտների 66,7 տոկոսի մոտ։
Վորտիոկսետինը Եվրամիությունում վաճառվում է դանիական Lundbeck դեղագործական ընկերության Brintellix ապրանքային մակնշմամբ։ Այն հավանության է արժանացել ԵՄ-ում, Շվեյցարիայում, Մեծ Բրիտանիայում եւ Միացյալ Նահանգներում ծանր դեպրեսիայի բուժման համար։ Դա նշանակում է, որ եթե կլինիկական փորձարկումները հաջող անցնեն, դեղը չպետք է հավանության բարդ ընթացակարգ անցնի եւ շուտով կարող է դառնալ գլխուղեղի մահացու ուռուցքի ստանդարտ թերապիայի լրացում։
