ԱՄՆ Արժեթղթերի և բորսաների հանձնաժողովը (SEC)դաշնային դատավորին խնդրել է պատժել ամերիկացի միլիարդատեր Իլոն Մասկին, եթե նա շարունակի խախտել դատարանի որոշումը՝ ցուցմունք տալու համար 2022 թվականին Twitter-ի ձեռքբերման հետաքննության շրջանակներում, հայտնում է NBC News-ը։

Հանձնաժողովը հետաքննում է, թե արդյոք Մասկը կամ նրա հետ աշխատող որևէ մեկը արժեթղթերով խարդախություն է կատարել 2022 թվականին, երբ Tesla-ի գործադիր տնօրենը վաճառեց իր ավտոարտադրողի բաժնետոմսերը և ավելացրեց իր մասնաբաժինը Twitter-ում ընկերության գնումից առաջ, որն այժմ հայտնի է որպես X: Մայիսին դատարանը Մասկին հրամայել է ներկայանալ ֆինանսական կարգավորիչներին ցուցմունք տալու Twitter-ի հետ գործարքի վերաբերյալ:

«Մասկն արդեն երկու անգամ չի ներկայացել SEC՝ առաջինը 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերին՝ ի հեճուկս օրինական վարչական ծանուցագրի, և անցյալ շաբաթ՝ ի հեճուկս դատարանի հստակ հրամանի», - ասել է SEC-ի փաստաբան Ռոբին Էնդրյուսն ուրբաթ հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ: Էնդրյուսը դատավորին խնդրել է դիտարկել պատժամիջոցները, եթե Մասկը շարունակի ժամանակ ձգել, ասվում է գործի մեջ:

«Դատարանը պետք է հստակ հասկացնի, որ Մասկը պետք է դադարեցնի իր խաղային վարպետությունը և հապաղելու մարտավարությունը», - գրել է Էնդրյուսը:

Հայտադիմումի մեջ նշվում է նաև, որ SEC-ը մտադիր է դատարանին խնդրել «քաղաքացիական արհամարհանք» կիրառել Մասկին սեպտեմբերի 10-ի ավանդը չեղարկելու համար այն բանից հետո, երբ գործակալությանը ընդամենը ժամեր առաջ ծանուցեց, որ նա չի ներկայանա: Հետաքննությանը մասնակցելուց Մասկի հրաժարվելը ժամանակ և գումար արժեցել է SEC-ին այն բանից հետո, երբ հանձնաժողովը աշխատակիցներ է ուղարկել Լոս Անջելես՝ նրան հարցաքննելու, և նա չի ներկայացել հետաքննական հարցազրույցի, հայտնում է գործակալությունը: Մասկի ցուցմունքը հետաքննության շրջանակում հետաձգվել է հոկտեմբերի սկզբին SEC գրասենյակում, ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ: «Առանց դատարանի հետագա գործողությունների, Մասկին ոչինչ չի խանգարի «պարզապես չներկայանալ այս ամսաթվին», - գրել է Էնդրյուսը:

Իր հերթին, Մասկի փաստաբան Ալեքս Սպիրոն՝ Նյու Յորքի Quinn Emanuel-ի գործընկերը, ի պատասխան գրել է, որ «նման կտրուկ գործողությունները տեղին չեն լինի»՝ հավելելով, որ SEC-ը և Մասկը պայմանավորվել են հետաձգել վերջնաժամկետը արտակարգ իրավիճակի լույսի ներքո:

Բացի այդ, Մասկը և նրա ընկերությունները «համագործակցել են և շարունակում են համագործակցել SEC-ի հետ բազմաթիվ այլ ընթացիկ հետաքննություններում», - նշել է Սպիրոն:
