Չինական «արևային մեծ պատը» էներգիա կապահովի և կկանաչեցնի անապատը

Չինական Օրդոս շրջանի Կուբուկի անապատի հյուսիսային եզրին կառուցվել է արևային կայան՝ 5,42 գիգավատ ընդհանուր հզորությամբ և ավելի քան 13,340 հեկտար տարածքով։ Չնայած այդ կայանը շարունակում է ընդլայնվել, բայց այն արդեն առաջ է անցել մնացած հզորություններից. շինարարության ավարտից հետո այն կարող է դառնալ աշխարհի ամենամեծ ֆոտովոլտային կայանը: Նախագիծը ստացել է «Չինական արևային մեծ պատ» ոչ պաշտոնական անվանումը, գրում է e-plus.media-ն։
Ըստ Օրդոս շրջանի իշխանությունների շինարարության ավարտից հետո կայանի հզորությունը կկազմի 100 գիգավատ: Ապագա «պատի» ընդհանուր երկարությունը մոտ 400 կիլոմետր է, լայնությունը մոտ հինգ կիլոմետր, իսկ մակերեսը 2000 քառակուսի կիլոմետր։ «Մեծ շինարարության» հիմնական փուլերը նախատեսված են 2026-2030 թվականներին, բայց գործընթացը բարդանում է ավազաթմբերի շարժունակության պատճառով։
Կառուցված արևային ենթակառուցվածքի մի մասը համալրվել է էներգիայի պահպանման համակարգերով։
