Իրանը պատրաստ է աշխատել Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ ծրագրի (ԳՀՀԾ) վերականգնման վրա, եթե համաձայնագրի կողմերը պահպանեն այն:
Այս մասին Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 79-րդ նստաշրջանում ունեցած իր ելույթում հայտարարել է Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիան«Մենք (Իրանը) պատրաստ ենք աշխատել ԳՀՀԾ-ի մասնակիցների հետ, եթե Համատեղ ծրագրի պարտավորությունները (համաձայնագրի կողմերի կողմից) կատարվեն ամբողջությամբ և բարեխղճորեն», – Փեզեշքիանի խոսքերն է մեջբերում «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի» գործակալությունը։
Իրանի նախագահը նշել է, որ «այլ հարցերի շուրջ երկխոսությունը կարող է հաջորդել սրան»։Ավելի վաղ Իրանի արտգործնախարարը հայտարարել էր, որ Թեհրանը պատրաստ է միջուկային թեմատիկայի շուրջ բանակցությունների նոր փուլ սկսել արդեն իսկ իրանցի քաղաքական գործիչների՝ Նյու Յորք ուղևորության ժամանակ, եթե մյուս կողմերը պատրաստ լինեն դրանց։
Սեպտեմբերի 10-ին բացվել է ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 79-րդ նստաշրջանը, որի շրջանակներում բարձր մակարդակի շաբաթ է անցկացվում սեպտեմբերի 24-30-ը։ Այս շաբաթվա ընթացքում ամբողջ աշխարհի ղեկավարները և ԱԳ նախարարները ներկայացնում են միջազգային իրադրության իրենց տեսլականը և նախանշում գլոբալ մարտահրավերների դեմ պայքարի ուղղությունները:
