ՀՀ նախկին ՄԻՊ Արման Թաթոյանի գրառումը՝ 44-օրյա պատերազմի 4-րդ տարելիցի օրը․
«Արցախի ու Հայաստանի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի [թուրքական աջակցությամբ] 4 տարի առաջ այս օրը սանձազերծած աղետալի պատերազմն արմատապես փոխեց մեր կյանքը:
Հիմա մեր սրտերը ծանրացած են մեր հերոսների, անմեղ զոհերի մասին հիշողություններով, ովքեր Հայրենիքի համար պայքարել են իրենց կյանքով, սխրանքներով ապահովել են մեզ համար գոյություն և պաշտպանել պետությունը։
Նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրի ճակատագրի պատմությունը զորեղ ոգու ու հայրենասիրության վկայություն է, ազգային ու պետական արժեքներով դաստիարակության ապացույց։
Պատերազմի հետևանքները կրում ենք նաև այսօր՝ ադրբեջանական զինված հարձակումների հետևանքով բռնի տեղահանված, բռնի անհետացած ու գերեվարված մեր հայրենակիցների ճակատագրեր, ինչպես նաև Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի տարածքների ու Արցախի զավթումով, մարդկանց պատճառած տառապանքներով։
Պատերազմի այդ աղետալի հետևանքները, ցավոք, մեզ վրա կրելու հաշվին հասկացանք, որ երբեք չպետք է պետական պաշտոն զբաղեցնեն մարդիկ, ովքեր իրենց անձնական շահերն ու պաշտոնը բարձր են դասում պետությունից, պատրաստ են պետությունը թուլացնող քայլերի` միայն թե կարողնանան կոծկել իրենց անձնական սխալները:
Սա պետականության համար անգամ առավել վտանգավոր է, քան այն կործանելու մոլուցքով ապրող թշնամին։
Պետք է վառ պահել վեր հառնելու հավատը, պետք է առաջ տանել արդարությամբ խաղաղության հասնելու, զորեղ պետություն ունենալու, աշխարհի հայության համերաշխության մեր հանձնառությունը»։
