Հնդկական Tata Group արդյունաբերական կոնգլոմերատը Մարոկկոյում ռազմական արտադրանք թողարկող մեծ գործարան կկառուցի։ Դա կլինի արտերկրում Հնդկաստանի կառուցած առաջին պաշտպանական ձեռնարկությունը:
Ըստ The Economic Times պարբերական ի՝ Կասաբլանկայի ձեռնարկությունը, որը ծրագրում է Tata Group-ին պատկանող Tata Advanced Systems LTD-ն, Մարոկկոյի թագավորական զինված ուժերի համար զրահամեքենաներ կարտադրի: Երկարաժամկետ հեռանկարում գործարանն իր արտադրանքը աֆրիկյան այլ երկրների ևս կմատակարարի։
Ինչպես ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդին, Նյու Դելին աֆրիկյան երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացումը առաջնահերթություն է դարձրել։ Նա նշել է, որ «Հնդկաստանն աֆրիկյան երկրների հետ հարաբերություններին առաջնահերթություն է տվել՝ այժմ դառնալով նրանց ամենախոշոր առևտրային և ներդրումային գործընկերը»:
Ըստ տեղական լրատվամիջոցների՝ Հնդկաստանը ձգտում է ընդլայնել իր ազդեցությունը, քանի որ Չինաստանը հաջողությամբ առաջ է մղում իր ռազմավարական շահերը մայրցամաքում: Նյու Դելին մտադիր է աֆրիկյան երկրներին Tejas թեթև մարտական ինքնաթիռներ, Pinaka կայանքներ, Akash հակաօդային պաշտպանության զենիթահրթիռային համակարգեր և ռուս-հնդկական համատեղ Brahmos գերձայնային թևավոր հրթիռներ մատակարարել։
