«Հրապարակը» գրում է․ Դեռեւս Արցախի բլոկադայի վերջին ժամանակաշրջանում Սամվել Բաբայանը հրապարակավ խոստովանեց, որ բանակցել է ադրբեջանական կողմի հետ, փոխանակվել են սկզբունքների փաթեթով, որպեսզի հնարավոր լիներ Արցախը պահել ադրբեջանական մանդատի ներքո։ Վերջերս նրան «պատին են դեմ տվել» արցախյան որոշ շրջանակներ՝ հետաքրքրվելով, թե ինչպես է ադրբեջանցիների հետ կապի դուրս եկել, ինչպես է բանակցել, որպես կանոն` ադրբեջանցիները պատահական մարդկանց չեն ընդունում։ Բաբայանը տվել է այն մարդու անունը, որն իր եւ ադրբեջանցի որոշ պաշտոնյաների միջեւ միջնորդի դեր է ստանձնել, փաստաթղթերն ինչ-որ պարբերականությամբ տարել է Կարմիր Շուկայի ադրբեջանական անցակետ, փոխանցել, ապա իրենցը վերցրել:
Խոսքն արցախցի Ռազմիկ Աղասյանի մասին է՝ միջին տարիքի մի տղամարդ, որի մասին շատ բան հայտնի չէ, սակայն կասկած չկա, որ նա երկարատեւ կապի մեջ է եղել ադրբեջանցիների հետ, հակառակ դեպքում նրան չէին վստահի։ Ստացվում է, որ Սարգիս Գալստյանի նկատմամբ ՀՀ իշխանությունները քրեական հետապնդումներ են իրականացնում լրտեսության մեղադրանքով, սակայն աչք են փակում մեկ այլ անձի` Բաբայանի միջնորդ Ռազմիկ Աղասյանի վրա։ Ի դեպ, պատմում են, որ ռուս խաղաղապահները հերթական փոխանակման ժամանակ բռնել են Ռազմիկ Աղասյանին եւ կոշտ զրույց ունեցել Արցախի այն ժամանակվա նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանի հետ, թե` մեր թիկունքում սեպարատ բանակցում եք ադրբեջանցիների հետ, իսկ մեզնից անվտանգության ապահովում պահանջում։
