Օրեր առաջ՝ սեպտեմբերի 30-ին, Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Էրդողանը հայտարարեց, որ իսլամական երկրները պետք է պատասխան տան Գազայի հատվածում, Արևմտյան ափին և Լիբանանում բռնաճնշումներին. «Մենք՝ մուսուլմաններս, պետք է առաջնորդենք աշխարհը՝ ճնշումը կանխելու գործում: Այսօր Պաղեստինի և Լիբանանի պաշտպանությունը նշանակում է մարդկության պաշտպանություն, խաղաղության պաշտպանություն և տարբեր դավանանքների համակեցության մշակույթ»:

Իսկ արդեն երեկ երեկոյան, երբ սկսվեց Իրանի կողմից իսրայելական տարածքների հրթիռակոծումը, Թուրքիայի առաջնորդը հայտարարեց, որ հավանություն է տալիս Իրանի գործողություններին, նշելով, որ Իսրայելի ագրեսիան վերաբերում է նաև Թուրքիային, ուստի Անկարան «կդիմակայի այս պետական ահաբեկչությանը բոլոր հասանելի միջոցներով»։ 

Հետևելով մերձավորարևելյան զարգացումներին, ինչպես նաև «դիտորդ պետությունների» արձագանքներին՝ MediaHub-ը զրուցեց թուրքագետ Նելլի Մինասյանի հետ, հասկանալու համար՝ արդյո՞ք թուրք առաջնորդի խոսքերը լոկ հայտարարություններ են, թե՞ իսկապես սպասել լուրջ ռազմական գործողություններին Թուրքիայի մասնակցությանը:

«Իսրայելին դեմ ով էլ հակաքայլ կատարի, Էրդողանը, բնականաբար, հավանություն է տալու, քանի որ իրեն ընդհանրապես ձեռնտու չէ, որ տարածաշրջանում նրա դերն ավելանա՝ Իսրայելին դիտարկելով որպես պոտենցիալ հակառակորդ տարբեր առումներով: Իսկ ինչ վերաբերվում է նրան, որ Թուրքիան դրական է արձագանքել Իրանի կողմից արձակված իռթիռներին, ապա դա պետք է տեղավորել ավելի շատ հռետորաբանության մեջ, որովհետև, այսպես ասած, ցանկացած պետության կողմից ձեռնարկված գործողություն, որով վերջինս կընդդիմանա Իսրայելին, Թուրքիան դրական կհամարի»,- ասաց նա: 

Անդրադառնալով ավելի վաղ Էրդողանի կողմից արված այն հայտարարությանը, որ Իսրայելը տարված է «Ավետյաց երկրի» գաղափարով, մեր զրուցակիցը նշեց, որ Թուրքիան մտավախություններ ունի այն հանգամանքով պայմանավորված, որ Իսրայելը ձգտում է ստեղծել անվտանգության գոտի. 

«Նա բազմաթիվ անգամ արտահայտել է իր բացասական կարծիքը այդ գաղափարի շուրջ»,- ընդգծեց Մինասյանը:

Ինչ վերաբերվում է այն հարցին, թե կմասնակցի՞ Էրդողանը որևէ ռազմական գործողության, թե, այնուամենայնիվ, կմնա դիտորդի կարգավիճակում, փորձագետը նշեց. 

«Ես կարծում եմ՝ ոչ, խիստ կասկածելի է անգամ, որ հենց Իրանն ինքը կներքաշվի լայնամաշտաբ պատերազմի մեջ: Եվ երկրորդ, եթե անգամ նման սցենար դիտարկենք, ուրեմն հավանականությունը շատ քիչ է, որ Թուրքիան կմասնակցի, քանի որ ամեն դեպքում Թուրքիան հանդիսանում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ և Միացյալ Նահանգներն ու ՆԱՏՕ-ն ունեն մեծ լծակներ Թուրքիային ճնշելու: Այնպես որ, դա քիչ հավանական սցենար է, և, այո, Անկարան կմնա ավելի շատ դիտորդի կարգավիճակում»,- ասաց թուրքագետը, հավելելով, որ չնայած էրդողանի հռետորաբանությանը, Թուրքիան, միևնույն է, Իսրայելի հետ այս ամբողջ ընթացքում շարունակել է իր առևտուրը, ընդ որում խոսվում է նաև որոշակի ռազմավարական ապրանքների մասին:
