ren.tv-ն «Հեծանվորդի օրագիրը. ո՞ւմ են ուղղված Փաշինյանի լուսանկարները Մոսկվայից» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է. «Ահա, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրապարակած մի հրաշալի լուսանկար Մոսկվայից: Ժամանել է ԱՊՀ երկրների ղեկավարների գագաթաժողովին և հանգստանում է Մոսկվայի հյուրանոցում: Շապիկով, շորտերով և հյուրանոցի հողաթափերով նստած է հենց պատուհանագոգին: Եվս մի լուսանկար, որտեղ նա Մոսկվայում հեծանիվ է քշում։ Սկզբից զարմացա՝ ինչպե՞ս, առանց անվտանգությա՞ն, իսկ եթե ինչ-որ ընդդիմադիր հայի հանդիպի՞ փողոցում... Բայց հետո հայտնվեց տեսանյութ. անվտանգությունն առկա է, հետևից ու առջևից թիկնապահներ՝ հեծանիվներով, անվտանգության մեքենաներ և նույնիսկ շտապօգնության մեքենա: Ամեն ինչ տեղում է։ Բայց հարց է առաջանում: Ինչո՞ւ է նա հրապարակում այս ամենը:

Ու՞մ է ուղղված այս ուղերձը: Ի՞նչ է սա նշանակում։ Միանգամից պատկերացրեք սովորական հայ ընտանիք: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը երկար ժամանակ համոզում է, որ Հայաստանը կորցրեց Ղարաբաղը ռուսների դավաճանության պատճառով։ Եվ նա Ֆրանսիայում է՝ միակ երկրում, որը Երևանի միակ դաշնակիցն է: Եվ որ Հայաստանը կիրականացնի «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» տրանսպորտային նախագիծը, որով կանցնեն բոլոր երկրների բեռները, բացի Ռուսաստանից... Եվ որ Ադրբեջանի հետ խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքել չի լինում... Իսկ հետո Փաշինյանը թռչում է Մոսկվա: Եվ, ահա, ԱՊՀ երկրների ղեկավարների հանդիպման կադրը՝ Ալիևն ու Փաշինյանը նստած են կողք կողքի... դե, ուղղակի այբբենական կարգի պատճառով՝ Ադրբեջան, Հայաստան (Արմենիա) և այլն։ Հետո երկար բանակցություններ Պուտինի հետ փակ դռների հետևում։ Եվ դրանից միայն մի լուր... Իրանի հետ անցակետում այժմ ոչ թե ռուսներ են ծառայելու, այլ հայ զինվորները, չնայած մնացած սահմանը հսկելու են միասին: Ընտանիքը դիտում է այս ամենը, և դա հենց այն ընտանիքն է, որին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իր լուսանկարներն ու տեսանյութերն է ուղարկում:

Այսինքն, ամեն ինչ հրաշալի է: Խելացի հորթուկը սովորաբար երկու պտուկ է ծծում, այսինքն՝ պայմանավորվեցինք և՛ ֆրանսիացիների, և՛ ռուսների հետ։ Ադրբեջանը թեքվում է դեպի Թուրքիա, Հայաստանը՝ Ֆրանսիա: Երկու լուրջ տերություններ՝ սեփական աշխարհաքաղաքականությամբ: Եթե այդպես շարունակվի, նշանակում է, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությունը երբեք չի ավարտվի։ Այն կնվազի, իսկ հետո նորից կսկսվի: Մինչդեռ Ռուսաստանը միակ միջնորդն է, որը կարող է երկար տարիներով կասեցնել այդ պատերազմը։ Եվ դա ոչ այն պատճառով, որ ռուսները խաղաղության աղավնիներ են. ուղղակի սեփական սահմանների մոտ վեճեր պետք չեն: Եվ, բացի այդ, ի տարբերություն ամերիկացիների կամ ֆրանսիացիների, Ռուսաստանը ունի գործնական փորձ, թե ինչպես կարելի է այդ երկու ժողովուրդներին ապրեցնել խաղաղության և հանգստության մեջ։ Նկատի ունեմ ԽՍՀՄ-ը, երբ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը խորհրդային հանրապետություններ էին։ Նրանք, հնարավոր է, չէին սիրում միմյանց, բայց երբեք չկռվեցին: Երբե՛ք»:
